What happened to Emril

So he’s not dead, that’s good. But why did he basically fall off the face of the earth for 9 years?
Hard to say? He had his own show on some network called Ion, and he makes 9 figures a year off of his TV shows, books and restaurants. So it's not like he fell off the face of the earth, it's just he did what every actual chef did: got as far as fuck away from Food Network as he could.
I just see screenshots of them on YouTube. I’m not looking for a family thing with scarves and turtle necks and what not. I want the old high energy Alton brown.

Ohhhh. Yeah I miss old Alton. Also unwrapped. That show was pretty entertaining, at least as a kid. Idk if it still holds ip

I had totally forgot about that, but I just watched a few clips and it got the old memory joggin. It really does hold up, wasn’t he a b list celebrity or something? He has a great voice, he’s fun and energetic. All the how to shows are really great. I love how it’s made and this old home. Unwrapped is a good example of one of the first well made how to shows.

Marc Summers? He did Double Dare and is the Executive producer on the Hotel/Resturant Impossible shows. I think he's taken a more administrative role in the past few years, as he's getting up there in age
