No, surprisingly. Or rather, they had the same intentions. It's just one was doomed to fail from the start and the other suddenly got the "cancer that's killing /b/".
Yeah, saying certain words just comes off as trying too hard in being edgy. Some articles may stand out to some but of course, many of the articles have weening and sperging if you gave it a harder look. As much as how ED could of been a read, most articles I looked at were old ones such as A-Log's article with his fic's and the article on TheUnkownAutobot. The only recent one that gave me some interest as I mentioned earlier was an article on a tumblrite anti-brony who proved to be a lying hypocrite, saying she despises bronies for sexualizing ponies despite the fact she drew her sexualized images of ponies.
I'll say this: I never really did read much of their recent articles. Those wouldn't have much substance in them nor are they interesting compared to one's that are focused on lol-cows and/or their works such as A-Log.
In some cases, we may as well be since I did say this: ED isn't really all that interesting save for pages on lol-cows like Chris and pages related to their works such as A-Log's fan-fiction. Most of its recent articles wouldn't be worth much of a read unless it were to somehow interest you (For me, as I said, the tumblrite that got her own page. I guess the only reason her ED page stuck out to me was due to keeping track of the brony drama she caused, such as claiming victory of some brony webcomic tumblr getting taken down because she didn't like the sexual content despite making her own sexualized pony drawing, along with making lies like other lol-cows.) but even then, ED to me is like TV Tropes: There are pages that are interesting but outside of them, not much else is interesting within that website.
Though I never thought of that, I should remember that one of their admins was a guy with a diaper fetish who later had his own ED article along with his admin privileges being revoked.
Oneidius Madhatter I believe. I could be wrong in terms of spelling. As for how he got privileges, someone said he got because he was cooperative in a chat with ED or something like that. Could be wrong though.
If ED returns, it's still gonna have weens and spergs making articles that can be boring while also typing obscenities in order to sound edgy and shocking.
Not only did the shock value lose its touch over-time, there is also the quality of articles. While there can be articles that have a good writing quality, there are also pages that have bad quality or are just uninteresting.
Yep. It's Onideus Mad Hatter aka Matthew Moulton. This is actually the diaperfur admin I posted before, and this guy was a laughing stock of ED during and after the admin days.
Speaking of updates, the pages as far as I know being updated a lot and frequently was Asalieri and the Irate Gamer. Just leaving it here.
Irate Gamer is nothing notable nowadays. Last time I heard of him was a TV Tropes page called "So Bad, It's Horrible". They listed his game as being a terrible game that not even his fans would defend. I think that was the most recent I heard of IG. As for Asalieri, meh, who cares about some guy who mocked TGWTG members such as Linkara and Angry Joe? All I remember is that he mocked them because he didn't get accepted on the team, which lead to reviewing a reviewer videos he made along with the article mentioning his dad being a spy or something.
For the Irate Gamer article, the ones who usually edit it are those from the IG Sucks Blog.
