What happened to TED Talks?

They were the embodiment of 2010s culture, disgraced scientists promoting their crackpot paper on Tetris preventing school shootings, or economists explaining how you can internalize fears about the stagnating job market with Ayurvedic urine therapy. Not to mention the franchised TedX talks, which I guarantee the most fraudulent failure "entrepreneur" or "life coach" you know in real life has given one.

But for some years now they have completely vanished from the cultural Zeitgeist, they aren't remembered, watched or respected. What happened?
Are they incompatible with a Trumpian timeline? Did Sam Hyde kill them?

I've heard about this vaguely, they just dropped in quality for whatever reason.

I wasn't a big watcher anyways, and I think I only liked one from James Randi. This legend was destroying fake psychics and smoke sellers before the average Kiwi was born.
