What Have You Cooked Recently?

I made this recipe last night and its ball lickingly awesome. Easy as hell too but I used cut up chicken breast cuz I aint spending no tree-fiddy on tenders.

I whole heartedly recommend a try. Just not too often as it's pretty much a heart attack in a pan...it clocks in at like 400mg cholesterol by the time your done but once a month? Hell yah.

Lasagna. My dirty secret is to use cream cheese instead of ricotta. It has a similar enough taste but melts smoothly instead of having that weird grainy texture that baked ricotta tends to have.
I'm also doing a lasagna today! I'm doing a mornay sauce rather than ricotta, always turns out bangin'
Also used some of the stock i made last weekend and god damn if the bolognese isnt the best i've ever made.

Same, but I also add spinach. Also, mushrooms in the meaty sauce. I usually call it "vegetarian lasagna with meat". My coworkers found that hilarious. It's good tho.

Today I finally found a Swedish meatball recipe that actually worked out great for me. It's tasty and they didn't fall to pieces like the last recipe I tried. It even uses the fond left in the pan from frying the meatballs to make the brown sauce.
I quickly boiled some potatoes, cooked up a bit of peas and, because I don't have lingon jam at home, I used sour cherry jam my mother made. It worked great.

Broth made from duck carcass and pork, then noodles, broccoli, carrots, spring onion, several types of mushrooms, and homemade pork/duck wontons.
Fucking oath, and they have great flavour as well. Did some skirt steak yesterday on the BBQ. Marinated for a few hours, cooked fast on fucking high heat, then cut across the grain. Mmmmm
I love tenderizing skirt steak, and bbqing it quick on high heat. Honestly it's probably my favorite cut (same with hanger steak) just because of the intense flavour.
My seasoning
Cayenne
Msg
Salt
Pepper
Paprika
Cumin
Chili powder
Onion and/or garlic powder
Sometimes unsweetened cocoa powder
