What Have You Cooked Recently?

Just finished cooking and packing my husband's lunch for work. Honey garlic chicken wings with brown rice and lightly seasoned field peas.

Chicken Alfredo
pan sauteed a cut up chicken breast in minced garlic, shredded it after it was done, melt most of a stick of butter, small tub of shredded parm, some heavy cream, more garlic. After that was done tossed in the chicken and the noodles.
Turned out pretty good

Tiramisu x lemon-meringue pie:
Savoiradi(?) biscuits dunked in limoncello w/ marscapone/sour cream, lime zest and decent vanilla -- not that abomination imitation horseshit.

No photos as hindsight but am about 6/10 rn and regretting not making more.

A ribeye steak I got on sale that was absolutely delicious, even though I mildly overdid it closer to medium than medium-rare.

It was so tender I could cut it with a bread knife and even the parts that are usually gristly were pure melt in your mouth bliss. I didn't even add any sauce or onions or other accompaniments other than a baked potato.

Ravioli and garlicy home made pesto I made in a nutribullet because I didn’t want to pull out the food processor.
Ginger pear crisp in a cast iron skillet. Despite my fuck ups it came out good.
I feel like a food network asshole when I say that the garlic flowed into the ginger, like they rhymed together.

I'm making my first carne asada for company tomorrow. My marinade is based on a variety of online recipes and the limitations of my pantry/budget.

Right now I've got skirt steak soaking in a mix of olive oil, lime juice, cumin, cilantro, chili, soy sauce, passion fruit syrup and honey. Wish me luck.

I cooked up a couple of bacon cheeseburgers for myself and a friend, they were delicious.

Last thing I cooked (Technically baked really.) was a Tombstone Five Cheese Pizza. (Really good pizza ngl, here in the south you can get some of them for really cheap, Publix sells them at a seemingly constant buy one get one free sale.)

I made some butter in a crockpot, and it turned out beautifully. Another show to watch is called Bong Appetit on Vice - it is a bit more educational. I have a friend who is a red seal chef and he experimented with some caramelized peach salsa using the butter. Retrospectively, he didn’t use enough of the butter, but he was able to document a few things to help with the next recipe. Other ideas - butter on a “baked” potato with a few other herbs, add to a pasta sauce, mac & cheese, etc. The key is to know exactly how much cannabis went into the butter, and how many servings your recipe will make to understand its effects, and keeping a journal helps with that visit this https://www.gyo.green/archive-seeds-ghost-og-x-memory-loss-arc-gxm-r.html thanks have nice day
