Hanging out with a couple of friends, we went down to a Vietnamese place not far from where we go to college. Had pho for the first time and all I can say is that I wish I had a bowl with me for dinner right now.
Philly style cheese steaks from a proper shop. Quite good except for near the middle where a pair of nefarious black olives from a hoagie order fucked with the meat and taste.
Made more Zapienkanki and it was still quite good. I'm thinking of next time adding in some kielbasa or bacon to the mix when I do it again since the beauty of the dish is it's like a pizza in that respect; you can add shit however you please.
Also makes me want to toast my bread in ovens all the time now for a few minutes since the rolls come out very well when firmed up and warmed like that.
Is this thread the tryouts for masterchef? What the fuck. Here's the extent of my cooking abilities. Boiled meatballs, pasta and premade tomatos sauce. Drench that shit with whatever spice I currently have in stock.
EDIT: the plastic fork is required, it adds to the taste.
