What have you recently eaten?

Sazon flavored beef and cheese that I made into a bootleg taco filling. It was okay but I know I can make it better with my own blend, since Sazon works better with chicken and fish I've noticed.
 
Homemade Bifteki stuffed with feta cheese, baked in the oven with a tomato-cream-Metaxa sauce. With rice and salad. I can roll around for the rest of the day.

Yeah from my experience beef can sort of overwhelm sazon.
Adobo has worked well for me as a quick thing to shake on a burger as I cook it.

Next time I'm just using the taco mix or just going to make my kinda-creole style mix (salt, pepper, garlic, cayenne pepper). I just wanted to use an open Sazon bag since I don't use too much of it to get its effects on chicken.

Yesterday's dinner was delicious greasy fish n' chips with a Hubert's lemonade. I ordered way more than I needed to eat so I had plenty of leftovers for today's lunch. I reheated it in the oven and it was nearly as delicious as it was last night.

Eating my own weird mac n cheese with beef flavored southwest style. I can't get the cheese sauce to thicken or full flavor, but honestly it's better than I expected for what I made.

Have you tried sour cream instead of heavy cream?

I'm odd and don't care much for bratwurst, but I tried the Apple & Chicken of these and liked it, and I think I like these even better. Had them grilled on a charcoal grill, which isn't quite as good as cooked over a wood fire with a fork, but still good.

some of those gimmicky chicken sausages are okay, Aldi has some sorta Italian-ish ones I like
I'm eating some manner of chicken salad-ish wrap on tomato inspired wrap medium from 7-11. Got that and a Corona Familiar on the way back from running my amazing ten dollar check from Asahi Beer to the ATM.
Nice enough sammich, Corona Familiar still my number one beer jam.
 
Roast pork egg foo young from my favorite Chinese restaurant. Despite everything going on, they are still doing brisk business, which makes me happy.

with some tiny bell peppers and onion , on top of a bed of rice,
without any addition sauces/flavorings (except a lil sqiurt of chile-infused honey but sssh) , It was pretty good, this is probably my first time eating preflavored raw grounded meat so it was pretty good.
For dessert I just drank coffee lol

Not bad, BBQ sauce was kinda weird, maybe some chili pepper in it?
Like most steak and shake very good if it was cheaper but okay at full price

Bf made 2 racks of ribs and buffalo drumsticks for a small family dinner a couple days ago. The ribs had bbq sauce for one, and Pineapple Habenaro sauce for the other. I had some of the BBQ rib leftovers with some thai chili sauce for dinner. It was pretty tasty.
 
Ordered a pizza from an okay place, especially for this area. Order says it'll take about 45 minutes. Eh, whatever, this place ain't a chain, I can wait. 45 minutes go by. I give the guy a bit longer because I'm patient, being a delivery driver sucks. Still nothing. I checked the order. Delivered already? I didn't even hear the guy knock. So I open my door to find the damn thing sitting on the ground outside my door. It was raining by the way, though I do have an overhang. Turns out the fine print specified a "no contact delivery". Could have at least sent me a text message on arrival though.

Box was still intact so no harm done, though my neighbors must have wondered what the hell place I was ordering from. Shit was cold but fuck it, haven't had good pizza in months.

Made a cheese fondue for Mother's Day using this recipe. Added a small bit of Gruyere in as well as using a small block of sharp cheddar, and 3/4 of a block the same size of mild cheddar. I wasn't sure medium cheddar was equivalent to medium-sharp. Pretty much doubled the recipe all over.

It came out great. Had granny smith and honeycrisp apples, homemade no-knead bread as well as Cheesecake Factory brown bread (which my grocery had), and a veggie platter to pick between for eating. It was awesome.
