Had a Rao's family size lasagna for my OMAD yesterday. I'd give it a 3/5 or maybe 3.5/5. For a frozen pasta dish it has good consistency and savory flavor throughout. It's not too dry or wet at any part. It's a little pricey for what it is, at $14 where I live. Load it up with some hot sauce of your choice and it's a decent bachelor meal option once a month or so. Wouldn't buy a bunch unless they were on sale, they do occasionally go on sale for $9.99 and then it's a better value.

I got some Korean fried chicken with garlic soy sauce and oh god it's delicious. I've only had the boneless stuff and people aren't kidding when they say I was missing out.

I'mma share the other half with a friend and see how she likes it.

ETA: she liked it a lot.

A simple salad with tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, olive oil, and apple cider vinegar. I made enough for the rest of the work week.

Earlier was steak taco, right before work was chicken tacos.

Right now, it's a chicken salad sandwich.

Ordered Cracker Barrel for the first time in years. The meatloaf has apparently been the victim of massive shrinkflation and had a weird orange coloring. The sides were alright, the dumplings were as good as I remembered. I also ordered a six dollar peach cobbler desert that I swear to God looked like they opened a can of peaches and broke graham crackers over the top of it. $23 for everything, not including a drink. Won't be ordering from them again for a long time.

I had a al pastor tuna taco down in SD from a Michelin noted spot in Pacific Beach, Oscar's. It was...ok. The real star of the show was the octopus taco. They must soak it in some sort of citrus for awhile as I've never had octopus that was so tender and soft.

It works quite well, but it's not exactly fuss free.

I've been not hungry for a few reasons I won't bore you with but Mrs basso was worried i have not had a full meal so she snuck to Wawa for my old reliable a meatball sandwich with hot peppers grated Parmesan oregano, and spinach (trust me on this at least from wawA).

Ate half and remembered wow eating is good inhaled the second half.
