What have you recently eaten?

As much as I love sweet desserts, I thought it was sickeningly sweet.

Does the recipe call for semi-sweet chocolate chips? If so, maybe you can substitute it with a 70% cocoa chocolate, and add some kosher salt and espresso powder to round out the flavour of the fudge filling.

Had a leftover chicken breast that wasn't bad but it had seen better days, diced it, threw in cayanne, chili powder, paprika, sirracha, some jalapenos, a can of mushrooms, then after it had sat on lowish with a lid and after a few stirs with sporadic chicken piece mashing for the seasonings to settle in I stirred in some sour cream.
Not bad

I tried El Pollo Loco's seasonal posole verde, it's pretty good. It doesn't seem like posole to me though, more like regular chicken soup but with tomatillo goodness. All the other posoles I've eaten/cooked have been pork though, and I've also never had one green.
I want to try their tamale plates next.

I really like EPL, it's my new go-to. I used to always grab a bite at Taco Bell or somewhere before getting groceries, but EPL is cheap, healthier than the Bell, and there aren't schizophrenic homeless people screaming in the bathroom.

Some small pretzel sticks and some chick fil a cookies

I genuinely like Hardee's Southwest Burger; they're pretty darn nice with the pepperjack and once you hold the jalapeno (I hate their flavor profile).

Grandma took me out for my birthday at a local establishment known for it's absolutly rad fucking desserts. They also give you tootsie rolls after your meal. Diabeetus here I come.

Breakfast: 1/2 of a McDonalds Cinnamon Cookie Latte from the day before (did not like it, tasted just like coffee with cinnamon which I can make myself)
Lunch: Leftover shrimp ring (just like Amberlynn's!) with cocktail sauce, 1/2 a kiwi.
Dinner: a 6 inch subway oven-roasted chicken (yes I like the chemically engineered pressed chicken) on wheat with everything except onions, pickles, and jalapeno. Also chipotle southwest sauce and honey mustard. I had a coupon!
Drinks: 2 cans of pamplemousse La Croix and 1 can of storebrand pineapple seltzer, also another coffee with nutmeg and cinnamon, and a cup of very tasty organic concord grape juice with vodka and seltzer which I am enjoying now : )

Grabbed some Chinese food from Safeway. General Tso chicken, chow mein and rice. Surprisingly good. Washed it down with a root beer.
