What if everyone had a superpower? - or a stand

When I mean everyone, I mean every single human being (other lifeforms not included). Personality, I think crime rates will go down but any war will be devastating.
Do crime rates go down when everyone has a gun, which in the animal kingdom could pretty much be regarded a superpower?

You're associating "superpowers" with people sacrificing their lives like comicbook characters to the betterment of others. There is no reason to believe that superpowers themselves lead to supermorality.

And in our world, it wouldn't just be buildings that get destroyed by their powers, there would be far more collateral damage.

Now think: Would everyone's superpower be useful?
As far as we could know, someone could have the power of super strength or laser beam shooting, but some others might have some shitty ass powers like communicating with fishes, potato bending or presence suppression.
Now, how about that?

Well I'm thinking more than just your average stock superhero powers. Those would exist certainly but what about someone that could restore something or someone to a previous state or someone who can replay a person's actions (yeah lots of JoJo sperging I'm sorry).

Widespread superpowers IRL would be absolutely catastrophic unless:

A) Technology (i.e.weapons) evolved in parallel allowing the state to keep a monopoly of violence,
B) Combat-related superpowers like super strength and energy projection were statistically rare.
C) The people capable of using combat related superpowers efficiently enough to be a threat were statistically rare.

Basically if the average Joe is Superman-tier powerful you're looking at an apocalyptic nightmare, but if the average person had a relatively weak power like Hero Academia background character-tier we'd be just fine.

I think the people with OP superpowers would be hunted down.

Like timetravel for instance. That shit is wayyy too powerful
People with OP powers like that and brainwashing would become rulers and politicians before anyone can lift a finger against them.

Yes, certainly that power could only ever be used for good.

Every human has the super power of abstract thought. No other being has this.
And still only .0001% of these humans use this power for good by shitposting on kiwifarms.net
I am strongly disappointed.

A better question to ask yourself, which would likely answer your first is how do you think the world would be if Chris Chan and the other lolcows had super powers.........

We all be living in Neopolis. Alan Moore dealt with this topic in his comic Top 10.
