If Obama lost and McCain won, would the woke movement have happened? Would the wars have gotten worse? Would Trump and Obama ever happen? Discuss it here.

But Obama did not lose…

Don't forget that McCain was a super Neocon. There's a good chance we'd be at war with Iran. At least the Vietnamese convinced him that torture was to be avoided.

I think woke movement would've become bigger than not. It's good that this happened under Obama years. The growth of trannies and degeneracy exploded under Obama. Trump victory stalled it slightly and gave strength to anti tranny movements.

I think Obama winning made people realize this shit is not people want. McCain victory would've legitimized the degenerate globhomo with endless wars and defunct American industry.

John McCain helped ensure that hundreds, possibly thousands, of American soldiers would die forgotten in Vietnam by helping cover up the fact Congress threw Nixon's peace terms to pay the ransom for them just like the French did with their own PoWs. Also there is a lot of rumors that his time in VietCong capture was nowhere near as bad as he made it out to be, and he was treated with kiddy gloves and recorded propaganda for them.

My guess is that if McCain won the salty progressives MIGHT have unleashed this absolute nuclear bomb of a story. The reason this wasn't used or mentioned in 2008 outside of the extreme fringe of the political sphere was because at the same time there were rumors and evidence of Obama's gay flings going around which would have been equally nuclear from a political point of view, meaning McCain and Obama were locked on M.A.D. over it.

Maybe that is why McCain threw the election in the end. Obama being a faggot would have been politically bad, but him having covered up for a conspiracy to leave american soldiers to die would have destroyed most of the GOP and likely resulted on his ass getting noscoped by vets.

Still wild they gave McCain a presidential funeral after they julay’d the shit out of him in 2008. As if just being on the campaign trail justifies anything and everything.

But boy that was a loooong time ago. Memory is fuzzy, but I think he would have been George III. Some people called him a carbon-copy of Bush jr. and would have been the best friend to arms manufacturers and other MIC cogs. Although I suppose Obama did the same thing with his drone strike crazy yeet-fest.

This feels like ancient history.

Someone else probably would have won

Drone stonks would be down

The people talking about "It' would have been worse. the woke movement would have been more severe" don't realize that most of the shit we have to deal with is because the Obamas are in power and pulling strings in the DNC. The whole woke shit in entertainment is because of Obama with his wallstreet bailouts which allowed BlackRock and Vanguard to become more powerful and his tampering in Netflix and other media sources to add his anti-white, anti-west propaganda.

It would have been way worse. You would hear some variation of the phrase "America was too racist to elect a black president" about three times a day and it would be treated like some kind of national sin.
This is probably the only difference. Obama promised to be different, but he was really Dubya's third and fourth term, which woke many of us up, setting the stage for Trump and populism on the right. McCain would have been no different from Obama. He was even one of those "compassionate conservatives" who would have probably signed some abortion of a healthcare act that costs a ton without actually helping anyone. If not Obama, then some other person like him (ideologically and/or racially) would have been elected after McCain's first or second term. Given the left was convinced the 2000 election was stolen from them, they would have had even longer to seethe about it, so they would be even more feral than they are now.

McCain was a libtard for a Republican but not as left as Obama. America would have charted a slightly less interventionist more socially liberal course than Bush but not as libtard as Obama was. Despite being to the left of Bush and considered sympathetically by the left both before and after his bid in the real world. McCains characterization as the great conservative satan in msm pop culture will carry over to his Presidency if he had won.

Foreign policy will essentially be the same as Obama except where it intersects with domestic agenda. Less push for affirmative action women soldiers and flying pride flags at embassies to piss off african countries. The most changes will be on the domestic side in wedge issues. Things will likely still move left just at a slower pace. Redefinition of marriage is postponed. The racial nonsense and other culture war issues do not blow up as much under McCain because while he will roll over for libs he doesn't proactively stoke the controversies as much as obama did.

McCain will ride the wave of the post 2008 recovery like Obama did and stand a decent chance for reelection. If he gets reelected we get to our biggest point of possible divergence as far as every day life is concerned. With McCain instead of Obama, the establishment may respond to Occupy Wall Street/Tea Party in a different way. We are less likely to get the 2012 inflection point implementing the modern SJW craze. Resulting in a world much more similar culturally to how it was in 2011 or one that diverged in a different way rather than the social justice pronoun policing obsessed one we have today.

Not saying left creep will be stopped or the inflection is guranteed not to happen with McCain. Just that theres a chance that it won't or it will be slower or happen at a later date. McCain will likely nominate two SC justices for Kennedy and Scalia who will be replaced by ones very similar to Trump's. McCain will be throughout his term and at the end of his term less popular than Obama because he wouldn't have the MSM slurping his balls 24/7 but since America mostly grew from the tech boom across these years his legacy would benefit from that like Obama did wouldn't be seen as a diaster for a Republican. Except of course for the Left who will treat every republican as a disaster. The Neocon wing would be strengthened to continue to stumble on longer although not necessarily more popular.

As McCain is ultimately a fairly mediocre establishment politician the Republican party would not be shaken up like it was under trump. To succeed him the conservative wing would once again fight with the McCain/Bush neocon wing. The chances for a Democrat win in the next election growing with each mediocre Republican win as people just get tired of the establishment and cycle through their options.

Every election people say it will be better for the crazy leftist to win because it will be better than slower decline from the mediocre rino or things will get so bad people will be snapped out of their funk en masse. How often has this been shown to be the case? What proof do we have of this strategy now that its been tried a few times?

Probably less nigger worship in media, and no BLM, but more diversity and degeneracy shit because Occupy Wall Street would have been larger.
