Containment What If?

He might have had a dose of reality enough to snap him out of his tard haze. Probably not though. Probably he'd just be beat up.
I think it would do him some good, Chris was always a little spoiled shit, he deserved to have someone smack him up at least once growing up. It might have taught him some humility and made realise he’s not special just for having the ‘tism’. Or not, who’s to say.

It would really have to be directly connected to and immediately when he tarded out, otherwise he wouldn't understand, it would just be mean stuff people did to him. And he wouldn't get it at the first try. Really, he could have used something like operant conditioning. Maybe not quite as crude as beat the shit out of him every time he tards out and give him a cookie when he doesn't, but something on that primitive level of understanding.

What if Chris latched on to disney as a child?
He would have adopted a lot of aspects from Disney like characters, locations and themes that assists in playing into his toon world and/or power fantasy depending on what stage he was at in life, he was already familiar with Roger Rabbit as that was a major inspiration for his love of kids cartoons, so he would have greatly feed off other things like Sword in the Stone (power fantasy), Alice in Wonderland (other dimensions/worlds) and maybe chuck in Fantasia 2000 as well as that's kind off an acumination of different Disney properties smashed into one film, with both animated characters and real life people included, sort of like who framed Roger Rabbit, but it's more a musical type story thing, so if Chris can't really tolerate orchestral scores, that film is probably out of the picture.

If you also mean to include the Pixar films as well, not too many of them released when he was at a Child's age, although I guess since his mentality and tastes towards cartoons never really faded away, things like Toy story, Monsters Inc and maybe the Incredibles + the Cars films might have rubbed off in him, since he was no stranger to shoe horning a multitude of different properties in his "original" comics, absorbing all these different childish properties wouldn't have been any stranger then what he's done before, whether or not he would have become attached to these fandoms is probably another different thing entirely, as Disney doesn't really have any long running franchises that it builds off, just brand loyalty and keeping the mouse a household name (the exception to that rule would be the Marvel and Star Wars franchises, so I guess you can see why it was a smart play for Disney to scoop them in up).

Most of the time though when he would later obsess over a particular franchise it was because of someone he was attracted to (like Megan with Sailor Moon and MLP) or because of someone who was popular in a pop culture sphere of influence that he saw in Twitter and YouTube was showing stuff off and Chris wanted to hop into whatever shit was trending, since he can't think of an original unique hobby to obsesses over all on his own (like the shipping cards, all the newest and hottest lego and transformers etc.).

What if Chris got a job at Home Depot back in 2009?
Somebody would have talked him into taking a forklift for a spin and he'd probably take out an entire stack of lumber or knock an aisle down or some shit.

What if Chris' and Cole's passions were reversed?

Cole would be the insufferably douchey American programmer/sales living in 80s Tokyo and working on Sonic the Hedgehog and other hit Sega titles.

Chris would be... Chris but a movie and cultural critic. Macing JKR in full on sperg-mode because in the movie Hermione had a green cape instead of red.

Plenty of lolcow potential in a highly autistic movie reviewer, although Chris would certainly not be unique in this regard.
