Containment What If?

What if Borb were 20 years younger when they had Chris i.e Bob born in 1947 and Barb in 1961. Would they have been able to do a better job at raising Chris?

I know they were poor parents. I just wonder how much of it was there shitty personalities (Barb) and how much of it was old school aversion to mental health, and sort of a distant stern idea toward parenting? Like maybe if they were younger they would have been more in tune with how to properly raise a child autistic or not?

My parents have told me before how easy I had it compared to them, and how stern and tough and distant my grandparents could sometimes be compared to them.

So if Borb were younger would their parenting have been exactly the same? Significantly different? Slightly different but not consequential enough to matter?

This would fundamentally rewrite Borb as people. Barb would meet Bob at age 19; she'd have Cole before she was born! Bob would also still be alive today.

Would Bob want to screw around with a Teenage Slut if he's a respectable age of 33? If Barb is like she was at that age, she doesn't know who CWC's father is and eventually marries the wrong man while Bob continues to visit her, ala Ran Colemann Yeats. Chris suffers a lot in common with Cole, indeed, the main difference is that Cole was pre-internet.

There are a lot of variables in here, but what we have is a superimposition of Dr. Chandler and Cole at the same time as Chris--and probably winding up a lot like Cole Smithey. Cole's not a success, even if he's a relative success compared to OPL.

Would Sim Chris's house burn down too.....? shit.
It would have to sooner or later. it's like Chris to put something in the oven and just walk away and completely forget about it while he grinds on X&Y.
I wouldn't be that surprised if the coffee machine was left on covered in grime and debris from previous jugs and that's what caused the fire.

Brother, it would likely be the same, only Barb would be a bit less of a snorlax due to metabolism not decreasing with age. Although, perhaps Bob would have made Chris watch WWF Superstars instead of Sonic, and thus, Chris would've been inspired to follow the path of Hulkamania

Chris just isn't a reader. Adult books, especially novels, just aren't stimulating enough for him. If he tried picking up something like Dostoyevsky or Shakespeare, he'd probably put it down out of sheer boredom or just difficulty in comprehension.

This. Chris just isn't smart enough for classic literature, beyond a "Peanuts" or "Family Circus" Comic.
I don't know, Peanuts often deals with religious and philosophical themes. Chris might find it a bit stressful.

Of course, bear in mind that one of the things Chris bought with his Best Buy credit card was a Nintendo DS "100 Classic Books" game. It's not totally out of character. Then again, given his habit of buying a shit-ton of games and only touching a few of them, he'd probably never touch it.

Well, Chris has a very rough understanding of what went on in both To Kill a Mockingbird and Of Mice and Men. However, he somehow managed to miss the former's moral about race relations and then got the two mixed up.

That being said, I'd love to see Chris's take on my favorite book--Slaughterhouse Five.

However, something I noticed after listening to the Father Call and reading To Kill a Mockingbird is that I found out that, by sheer dumb luck (and only after confusing it with Of Mice and Men), he somehow managed to get closer to the heart of the book than Matthew Devoria, that, in the end, the book wasn't so much about the fucked-up race relations in the Deep South as the way society treats those who deviate from the norm. Granted, he was still a long ways off, but still.

Michael Snyder would have enough of his bullshit and run Chris down with his own car.

I doubt being younger would've made a difference. She wasn't any smarter or more fit a parent when she had Cole.

In community college, I somehow doubt it.

I suppose that's fair. I don't know much about differences between community colleges and not-community colleges. And seeing as how I'm in uni with one of the most challenging and time-consuming majors at the school, I just start to think about how Chris would have dealt with a workload like mine.

If Chris doesn't compare all the literature to MLP, he would fall asleep while trying to read them. For the only times we didn't see him fall asleep in his highschool classes was if he were reading Goosebumps books...not exactly classic literature.

I wonder what would happen if Chris actually read and understood Nietzsche's works. Would he go insane?

Books with big paragraphs and zero images cause him stress, which cause him to crash into slumber and shit himself... so, he would shit himself and do nothing...
But seriously, the closest thing to a good book that he has ever read were To Kill a Mockingbird and Of Mice and Men, and he did not even understood those books...

Some guy from Jersey Shore as Clyde Cash, and Dan Green as the voice of Punchy Sonichu.

Seriously, like I said before Chris is illiterate. He wouldn't even finish the first page of any of the books you people suggested (especially not Chinese literature, LOL). If Chris even attempted to read any of these books he would try to read the first page, fail, shit himself, do nothing and then fall asleep.

Honestly. He can't even read more than one page and one topic of this forum at a time and we talk about his favourite subject, himself.
He'd probably just give the books to Rocky and say that he read them.

Well, considering his other instances in disguises and cosplay, he'd get caught right then and there.

I think he'd look good with red suspenders and a blue bow tie. The bow tie would have yellow polka dots.

Well, I can already see him going after characters like Jessica Rabbit. Plus he had Animaniacs r34 in one of his Sonichu comics, so he probably does whatever he can to go after cartoons of any age.

I'd hate to see what he'd do to Betty Boop.

Re: What if Chris could be convinced of having been turned g

He would deny it.

Yeah.... that's about it.

He would shit himself and nobody cared if he did nothing or not.

Blanca was definitely fictional. Just two different photos of two different girls, and Chris fell for it.
