Depends on how it happened.

If they just stopped making the games and whatnot, he'd probably never even notice. In fact if that had happened before the blarms change, he'd probably have been perfectly happy with it. The games aren't as important to him as Sonic just existing.

If they actually made some big announcement about "We're not doing any more Sonic stuff ever again", then yeah I guess I can see him having a freakout about that.
