Containment What If?

What if, against all odds, Chris was able to go to that church pizza making event?

What would have happened there? Would the teenagers treat Chris with tolerance and acceptance? Would a fight start? Would he be kicked out of Wesley Memorial for Good? What would have happened.

Personally I think he should have been allowed to attend, as long as he behaved himself properly, the socialization might have done him some good. I mean he is a guy with so little good going in his life, you'd think Wesley would allow him the small kindness of the pizza party.. Im surprised Rocky didn't pull any strings myself.
 
Honestly, I'm all for giving people a chance, and I think that somebody working is better for society than that person being on the government tit. But it depends how much I looked into it. That he hadn't had a job since Wendy's is a major strike against him, that he hit Snyder with his car and freaked out in court is even more so, and you can just keep adding big red flags for just about everything else he's ever done. But that he actually sent the application would move him up my Scale of Respect a notch.

No matter what, with the most cursory googling, nothing dealing with customers. Not face-to-face nor over the phone. Warehouse or night stocking only. If I took him on, I'd keep a close eye on him too, and while I'd probably give him extra leniency for mistakes (he is after all a Very Special Boy :stupid: ) I would have very little tolerance for bullshit and I'd make sure he knew it.

But then, I'm not actually a manager and maybe I shouldn't be if I'm even considering giving someone like him a chance.
 
Gaybian, you assume too much. He engaged with Meghan after all.. who once was a stranger... and that relationship didn't go too bad for at least a few months.. (sigh)

One of the kids may have engaged him out of pity or curiosity. Maybe he coudl have spoken to one of the adults?

The attraction sign? I just thought that was because he was shy around the babes!

In all seriousness, I wouldn't hire him for one major reason: liability. Basically, if Chris were to freak out on the job and do something crazy, I could be legally liable for what he does. And even if it doesn't bring about any lawsuits, there's always the matter of his work ethic, or lack thereof. So no, I wouldn't hire him.
