He would get work but only from trolls. We'd probably hire a really convincing tranny to blow him and then pull out their huge dick and flop it on Christians balding forehead. He'd freak out and rationalize that he's not gay the trolls just tricked him.
 
What if we all pooled our resources, adopted Chris (I know this isn't possibly but bear with me) and decided to rehabilitate him as a community effort? People would be in charge of his meals, social outings (finally get him that GF he wants so bad), housing etc etc. Basically try to get him to return to normal society. Part of me says this isn't possible due to Bob 'n Borb refusing to treat his autism for decades but it's a fascinating idea.

What's the end goal here? He's always going to be autistic and useless no matter what, I think. Get him to stop seeing the world as a petulant toddler who didn't get his way? By creating a scenario where he just gets what he wants handed to him? Also I'm only in for the effort if it's funny in some way. Why ruin a perfectly good lolcow?

Chris could trivially trained to acceptably participate in society.

Also, keep in mind, Bob and Barb didn't refuse to treat Chris' autism. They merely rejected a specific treatment, but permitted other treatments, like coping classes in high school. It's reasonable to want to be involved with deciding which treatments are appropriate for your child's disorder.

I think he could if he had to, was forced to, but just us rushing in to save him? Get real. If we just decided to pool our resources together, be nice to him and get him a gf, he wouldn't improve. There are already people that sort of do this, and Christian just accepts their offer to use them and shows them no appreciation in return. He'd just accept our help and use it to get by or what he wants, but not feel any obligation to change for the better. It'd be just like what he does with his tugboat.

If we wanted him to change you'd have to reach him on an emotional level to get him to understand what's actually wrong with him. A thick layer of autism and denial prevents him from ever reaching this understanding. White knighting or Kengling ain't gonna cut it.
 
What if Chris wrote bad horror fiction instead of bad anime comics.

Oh, no, when I said "trivially trained to acceptably participate in society", I didn't mean by us. We sure as hell can't do anything to him.

Only Barb (or his future Barb stand-in) can do anything to Chris.
 
What if Chris was a urban legend, whereas if one person uttered his name three times in front a mirror, he'd appear?
