Are you referring to how regularly people have it? I've had it before but don't have it regularly, not sure what others have, but I think it's regular enough for some people as it's often sold pre-cooked and frozen in stores. I think my family likes to top it with cheese when they make it.Since you seem familiar with beingView attachment 7560249 I got a question.
Is Shepherds Pie british?
If Shepherds Pie is FishnChips level british, I rescend myself calling you View attachment 7560252

I mean, yeah, it looks like what you’d see on a box of wet cat food, but even in that reguard, it looks like GOOD wet cat food.
It's usually chippers that serve mushy peas while restaurants I've been to mostly serve it with garden peas. Mushy peas are quicker to cook than garden peas. (Garden peas you have to leave boiling and frequently top it up, mushy peas can be put in the microwave for 30-40 seconds)The problem is the british can come close to getting it right then fuck it up completely. Fish n chips, okay fine, simple but good. But why fuck the whole thing over with some mushy peas? Visual vomit is not something I would want on my plate. The cheap ass beans are also offensive.
I think beans are inoffensive filler that are relatively good for you as they offer plant-based protein. I don't like them being tipped over every part of the meal though. The only appealing British food I have seen is the breakfast fry-ups (eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms, toast) …. Excluding the beans. Why beans on everything??
Probably some truth in this, before I tried a Japanese restaurant I avoided anything spicy. Still don't want to eat spicy stuff everyday, but stuff like Katsu Chicken Curry is nice every once in a while.British people can't tolerate spice at all, or at least think they can't so won't even try it.
Baked beans the sauce is packed full of sugar and salt so it's not as healthy like the other canned beans.I think beans are inoffensive filler that are relatively good for you as they offer plant-based protein. I don't like them being tipped over every part of the meal though.
Interesting, I'll have a look for other types of canned beans next time in the shop, thank you. I take it you just boil them in the water and drain them off?Baked beans the sauce is packed full of sugar and salt so it's not as healthy like the other canned beans.

For other canned beans yes but for baked beans they come in a sauce so you don't add anything and boil/microwave/heat up in that sauce.Interesting, I'll have a look for other types of canned beans next time in the shop, thank you. I take it you just boil them in the water and drain them off?
