What is a good mug?

Unironically my whole family uses the Evil holds from all three categories.
Good Lawful is code for having syphilis, which I do not have nor do I belong to a royal court.
Neutral Neutral hurts my fingers.
Good Chaotic hurts my fingers.
Good Neutral is impractical because it involves to hands.
Neutral Chaotic only works if the outside of the cup is not too hot.
I was holding Evil Neutral and I would spill when I tried to put the cup down, but it keep my hand from burning and didn't hurt my fingers.

I ended up buying one of those Chinese metal cups that are made like thermoses, so you don't burn your hand.

The DS9 cups wouldn't work for me because I've used cups that have a negative incline...
Such ones were used in Star trek DS9, right? As a historic reference to mugs that were used on naval ships. I hate the shape, but I think this would be useful in a car too, for those who hate thermo cups
I think they modelled the DS9 mugs after 80's travel mugs. Back when cup holders were small, or sometimes didn't exist, these babies sat on the floor and didn't spill.

Those never made it where I live or in Europe in general, at least I've never seen one in the wild. On longer car trips I usually have more drinks than there is holders, so I use this large one I found ditched in the woods. Would hurt OP's delicate fingers tho. I even bought a lid for it, but since there are more manufacturers who make knockoff US army surplus, it doesn't fit by, like, 5mm

The DS9 cups wouldn't work for me because I've used cups that have a negative incline before and I always burned my mouth with them. I suspect the flange at the bottom of the cup is part of the cup's fluid volume, so I'd expect a similar situation, sadly.

Maybe we were thinking of best mugs, not a thermos.
I've used those tall Chinese style cups or mugs before, but the trouble with them is the ceramic doesn't block the heat. What I bought is sold as a tumbler, but you can put hot stuff it it and your fingers don't burn, so I thought it was very similar because it's like the ceramic Chinese cups that don't have handles too. I'm sorry, I should have been more clear.
