I wanna buy a new phone since my old one does not support googlepay and is complete ass when it comes to speed and mobile reception.

Bonus points for long battery life.
All Phones with stock Android that I found are super expensive, I'd like to keep it under 200 tho

UPDATE: Went with the Pixel 6a and I like it a lot, however I havent used any other modern Android phones so I might be easily impressed.

Buy a Motorola from Wally World; Moto X, Razr, or just buy a Moto G Play from Jeff Bezo's Palace.

All of these phones should only be around 150$ at best with a prepaid plan. Unlocked will bump you to 170$ or so. They have good battery life (5000MaH standard) and although WILL NOT replace a powerful smartphone; will do for general use incredibly well. Their setback is their Helios G37 mobo/chip.

Another throwback option is Galaxy A03s, a dogshit hyperasian junk phone for the budget market. Buy it at Jeff Bezo's Palace.

Nokia makes stock android phones, some are cheap, meant for Asia/Africa. No idea where they'd be sold in the US.

But @CumDumpster is correct, all phones are trash. If you're expected to have a smartphone due to work/family/friends, I've found the best is the iphone se. That's quite a bit out of your range, though.

Generally that also depends on which nation you are in, as while iPhone has huge dominance in the states it's largely dismissed in other nations or just has token representation. Nokia makes good inexpensive phones, so does Motorola. Huawei makes really good phones, but they don't get Google Play store support because they're apparently suspicious

If you don't mind replacing your phone every year, Motorola phones are great when they work. But it will stop working after about 15 months, because their screen digitizers are fucking shit and have been fucking shit since the mid '10s. Google "Moto ghost screen" for more info.

On the plus side, the Moto G is so cheap that you can replace it once a year for 10 years and still end up spending less than you would on one flagship phone that'll last maybe 3 years before dying.

A bit out of your price range but the pixel 6A is pretty nice. Currently $330 on amazon. If you're good with used they're a hair over $200. If it still goes on sale it should be a great deal. Still very happy with my pixel 6 which uses the same SoC. My 6 has great battery life so long as google hasn't screwed up a system update which causes something to have runaway power consumption in the background which happened recently though they fixed it by the time I noticed something was going on. 6A's battery is like 5% smaller so it shouldn't be an issue, especially since the 6 has more pixels and a faster refresh rate on its screen

Unless you're a snob, a good refurbished phone is a great option. Amazon/Ebay, etc. Just find a "factory refurbished/renewed" with a warranty, of whatever black rectangle of your choice. I've had good luck going this route. A good unlocked 5G Samsung can be found for under $300. And you can fairly easily un-cuck an Android phone if you have a bit of know-how and know where to look to get rid of spyware and bloat.

um, googling "moto ghost screen" doesn't really pop up with a lot of results. And i suspect their folding phones use a different type of digitizer.

This will take a bit of work and wipp void warenty, but

>look for a referb from the last 5 years that you can unlock the bootloader of
>unlock bootloader
>learn how to flash gsi images
>flash this https://github.com/TrebleDroid/treble_experimentations/releases
You will have pure aosp with or without google shit (to your preference) that will be kept up to date. No need to worry about sanjeep buying a new phone and discontinuing cfw for it.

Its a bit of a pain to set up but is worth it in the end.

so we're going to skip out on the battery life bonus points, arent we.

Seeing you're a retard that can't think for themselves, egay is running a sale for all old stock google pixel devices. Good luck.

I like my RAZR+ 2023 but it's like 60% off thanks to discounts for financing.
Is that the folding one? I like the idea, because most of my phone usage could be done without even opening the phone up. How long have you had it?

I took that and I am very satisfied.

I always had only 2g with my old phone and thought that I have just a shitty provider, however with the new Ive got 4g everywhere I go and the latency has dropped through the floor since then too.

I've had it for three weeks now? I'm liking it. The outside screen is very handy and it's more powerful then my old phone. Only thing is finding cases is a pain, as they have nothing to clip onto where the hinge is so they slide off, and if it slides off enough to hold down the power button the phone gets hot and shuts off. I tried different adhesives but just took the case off until my new one with a hinge comes in. But the phone feels like a ceramic plate so I'll try it as is until the case comes in the mail.

One thing I'd add is that although you can run nearly any app on the front screen, the front tiles are limited. You can pan to a clock tile, an app tile, a contact tile, a music tile (that ONLY does Spotify and not well), and a game tile that doesn't let you change or rearrange the games listed. Minor quibbles though, and may or may not be resolved in future software updates.

Been taking a Motorola G Stylus 5g 2022 through its paces and I gotta say, it's pretty good phone for normal use. Unlike many Pixel models, it doesn't suffer from overheating issues during the hot summer days. The stylus is a nice feature and the battery lasts a long time. Decent phone if you pick it up on sale.
