What is soup?

Soup is more watery than stew. The key would be to determine at what level of viscosity or volume by weight that happens.

Pretty sure a stew is just supposed to be thicker... unless its a creamy soup.

You know what this thread needs? Some soup porn!

For something to be considered a soup it just needs to be savory, warm, and around 40-50% broth in my opinion

My definition of soup is that it has: upwards of 60% liquid or aqueous fluid, three or more ingredients, at least 10% solids, and a viscosity between 1 and 300 centipoise.

I had a bottle of soup yesterday. :drink:
It was good.

Edit: Having more soup right now. Is red. Very good soup. If you like soup, try Apothic Red.
