Yes, Phil would have faded away naturally long ago if he didn't have detractors. His troll tippers and 50 bit bitches were a significant source of revenue and the handful of whales supporting him are either literal retards or just trying to troll the trolls and stick it to them somehow by giving Phil money. That would have been way better for him too because at this point if he can't make the money he needs on streaming then he's going to lose everything. There is no plan B and I think he's said that word for word before.
The fresh development with the Argentina VPN thing means that trolls can use the one avenue they have to get a rise out of him without actually giving him anything. Tips and paytreein are the only "real" fan support he gets. Patreon is a pittance to him and tips are the liquidity he needs to buy door dash, gin, and pull hogans. He spends those immediately. Without the steady YouTube check helping him out "in the long term" he might actually get himself into real financial trouble in the upcoming months while also suffering from withdrals of his addictions.
But realistically too many people, fans and tractors alike are invested in not letting that come to pass so we'll only get some whining and a save the house begathon or similar.

Phil is like a baloon stuck in a high ceiling. Is it entertaining? Not really, but you can't help but take a look once in a while to see if it's still there. I wouldn't say I'd be excited to see it finally fall, but after being there for so long, I'd want to see it when it happens.

DSP is an amazing psychological study into NPD, delusion, greed vs sloth vs pride Nd addiction. His gaming is secondary and mostly a highlight of how fucked his cognitive abilities are and the depths of his delusions (his excuses)

On a lolcow baseball team, DSP would be your lead-off hitter. He has a 15 year legacy of NPD, laziness, greed, cult-like manipulation tactics, whining about shit adults do every day, and usually being very bad at all of it. Occasionally he'll hit a home-run of gold dust (even the recent Argentina VPN issue has been fun to witness) and that's even better. However, it's really the consistency of knowing that you can throw a dart at a calendar and know on that day he's going to do some really stupid shit / whine about dumb shit / manipulate his dents / e-beg / rage / etc. that can bring an autistic comfort into following him... unless it's his day off in which case you'll hear all that on the next day.

The appeal of DSP for me, unlike most other lolcows, is that he's completely harmless.
Phil is just an idiot who is terrible at games, terrible at streaming, a shameless e-beggar, no redeeming qualities, and an extremely weird person that is enjoyable to try figuring out along with his small chat of actual retards. His autism vortex is such a strange place where nothing makes sense. It's just stupid fun trying to piece the puzzle.
Like currently, we have the Argentina "fake" member saga, one of those stupid things that can only happen in Phil's vortex and him shoving his fat wife out there looking like a hostage.
I never watch his streams, infact I've never even been to his channel other than to check the views his videos get. Even his highlight channels are tough to watch because it's 99% boring bullshit. It's the few rare moments when such stupid things happen that keep me entertained. So, I understand why people on the outside don't get it.

Phil's fans and a-logs make up a lot of the show. Derich, OIC and Marlin could warrant their own threads but with his history of dented fans and a-logs, they are fine being contained here. His former mod Timbo went into like 3 bankruptcies while working an entry level IT job and giving his paychecks to Phil and e-thots, Jaxx who despite wanting to save up enough money to buy a car, will instead give Phil hundreds just to play street fighter. There's PlanetJeff aka OneMinuteMan who gives Phil a guaranteed $20 every day he streams and has been for years.
Lastly, we can't forget about the attention whore known as OIC (@Little Bill) who has given Phil tens of thousands in a span of a few years while making a dozen kiwifarms sock accounts, God knows how many youtube sock accounts to suscribe to Phil and give memberships while LARPING the entire time. First OIC had a dog and a fiancé, then he went to Bahrain then he was in Hawaii (while still giving Phil money) and etc. Now, he's pretending to be a tranny and that he's transitioning with the only proof being some chemical which he had to post here to let everyone know rather than just cutting off his a dick like every tranny.

I think the interesting tid bit is how things will continue to develop for him, he isolates himself more and more with each day and his entire life is supported by a handful of paypigs.
He has no skills to work any other job and he has no retirement plans other than keep playing videogames into his 60's. It's going to be interesting to see how his story ends but watching him nowadays is depressing/boring.

In a way DSP is an interesting experiment in social isolation. His mental faculties are on the decline and it’s not for nothing that he’s often compared to an alien in a human-style disguise.
His work history speaks for itself. Phil could probably still find some jawb that will pay the bills, but his personality and attitude will get him fired after a few months.
His income is slipping. Not by a huuuge amount but every year there’s a ten percent drop.
He would probably go on streaming and living in diminishing comfort until the day he croaks, if not for his stupidity. One of these days, whether next year or the year after, something will happen because of his lack of foresight and IQ that will break the camels back. It could be another bankruptcy, fucking with the IRS or getting kicked off youtube, but something will happen that will severely fuck him up.
Not that I particularly hope for that to happen. Phil already exists in a living hell, entirely of his own making: He spends 6-10 hours every day, six days a week, doing something he loathes, and his only escape is spending money on gacha which further fucks him up.
It’s entirely deserved and quite satisfying imho.
