What is the average age on here?

I would say there are enough of us Xoomers to put the average age at least 30 especially a lot of more frequent posters and chatters. This sort of makes sense as a lot of us knew about Chris from many moons ago and thus found our way here, and then after that if you are older and weren't attracted by Chris nostalgia the very fact that there are people your age is attractive (or of your same generational attitude even if you don't know peoples exact age) so it snowballs

Supposedly Xers were basically abandoned by their boomer parents so they're called "latchkey kids", so I guess you could blame boomers for how they turned out. Then again feminism is really to blame in the grand scheme of things, boomers wouldn't have abandoned their kids and let media raise them if the women were actually at home.

Xers tend to have a degree of nihilism baked into them as a result of shitty Boomer parenting, living under the constant threat of a global nuclear holocaust and a lack of ability to organise into larger groups. Millennials only had shitty Boomer parenting and/or clueless Xer parenting to deal with.

That said, Xer parents can be hit and miss, Those that have found a clue seem happy to throw whatever resources they can towards helping their Zoomer kids sort the world's shit out (possibly by stripping the assets of their Boomer parents). I'm not say it's the right way to go about things, but it's the best that a generation conditioned into apathy can come up with.
