What is the best type of lighting fixture

It really depends on what you like and what theme you are going for. Also what sort of room, since not all fixtures fit in every type of room.

The fixture I attached as image is probably my favorite when it comes to practicality. Since it fits in most types of rooms. And you can also change the direction of the lights very easily.

The single greatest fixture of all time is my Tiffany style lamp I inherited after my grandmother passed. It's got charming little hummingbirds and the stem and base is made to look like a tree and it's roots.

Also, I like recessed lighting in tall ceilings where I'd have to drag a proper ladder in just to dust/change bulbs. If I can't reach it with a step stool or on foot, that shit better be recessed.
