What is the last game you bought at full price?

I think it was actually Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends for XBox 360, the last game Slightly Mad Studios worked on before Project Cars and it plays pretty much exactly like a Ferrari-only version of Need for Speed: Shift using the exact same game engine.

STALKER 2. Purchased as preorder. English voice acting was extremely dry at times but overall it's a significant improvement over the last entry, Clear Sky.

I paid as much as I could for Brotato and the DLC. I say that because it seems to always be on sale, when the deep sea w/e came out? 10% off.

Maybe Hollow Knight? I don't know if it was the original price but it wasn't on sale. It was over a year, maybe two years, after it came out. It was like $20 or $25 or something. I might have paid full price for Axiom Verge as well. That was like $15 or something. It also wasn't on sale. Prior to that I'm not sure if I've ever paid full price for a game. Even when I bought physical games I bought second hand ones usually. But I haven't bought console game since the ps2.

Sadly, Baldur's Gate 3. I contemplated asking for a refund after a preview came out with the infamous bear scene, as I had prepaid pretty much as soon as humanly possible and played the demo multiple times, but I relented and I regret it to this day. Curiosity killed this cat.

I usually try to buy indie Japanese games for full price and some western indie games as well. I'm not sure when it was the last time I bought the triple A game in full price, maybe Fire Emblem Three House?

I was gonna say it was Alien: Isolation (man, I really hope the sequel doesn't suck), but then I remembered I paid a ridiculous sum for the roided-out physical release of Stalker 2...which still has yet to ship (it's suppose to go out in April).

Oh, I also paid full price for R-Type Final 2, along with all the DLC. I have magical memories of playing R-Type on the PS1 and figured I owed the devs.

I really liked Wolfenstein TNO so I bought The New Colossus day 1 and regretted it so bad I haven't bought a full priced game since.

Helldivers 2. It had a rough phase near release with shitty "balance" updates but the got to a good place between the time I dropped it and the time I picked it up again. It was money well spent

Dead Space remake back in early 2023 I think. Solid game but Isaac's new design was way more distracting than it should have been lol

I think Marvel's Spiderman when it came on steam. It was fun. I haven't bought a game since, but would buy the hypothetical rerelease of the original MW2. No balance changes, no texture updates, just improved servers and populous.

Holy shit I can’t remember… fuck me bro.

Like any game I enjoy I normally got in early access. I thought I was gonna buy the dwarf fortress steam release day one but didn’t because it was still full of decades old bugs.

No knowing me, I probably got it on sale, but I know the game Rust doesn’t go on sale often so I might’ve paid full price for that so I could play with friends…

Literally if not that then I think the only thing I say 1’ed is the Orange Box and GTA San-an. I’m a very patient gamer.
