What is the last game you bought at full price?

Well I got Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer and Triforce Heroes at Five Below a few years ago. It wasn't like they were on same at $5 each. That's the highest price in the store. Well it was back then at least. Although that wasn't the original retail price before those games landed there. If that doesn't count then I believe it was A Link Between Worlds. I never buy games new anymore if I can help it. Unless it's something I absolutely must have nao I wait awhile until it's cheaper and there's a good consensus on whether or not it's worth it.

I guess technically Elden Ring, but I used a visa gift card I got for Christmas, so most of the cost wasn't my own money. Before that, it was probably Mario Odyssey when that was first released. When most games aren't worth playing, and especially at launch waiting for patches and bug fixes, it becomes really easy to wait for sales.

Yakuza: Like a Dragon. I bought it only because it was the first time I had any real money of my own. I regret buying it at that price, but I don't regret experiencing it, because it really helped me quit buying new games.

Probably a Nintendo game. Either the Princess Peach one or the Princess Zelda one, whichever came later. Oh maybe Brothership

Spider-Man 2 (2023). I legitimately enjoyed the first game and the Miles Morales game was fine (even though I have no inclination to ever play it again). But holy fuck Spider-man 2 was just a complete disappointment. Story sucks and made me feel depressed when Peter basically becomes second rate to Miles. Gameplay wise the swinging is good but is completely trivialized with the addition of the wingsuit so you can basically just glide around everywhere. Lastly the world and side activities were just completely fucking boring. Almost no variety and once you were done with everything on the map there was literally nothing left to do. I've definitely learned my lesson and will never pay full price for a game ever again.
