Percentage wise, what would your guess be? How is it affected as new variables are added in, such as Discord, Deviantart, Tumblr, etc?

I unironically credit early 4chan with preventing me from getting groomed because it taught me to hate furries before I met one, and sure enough that fucker sent me unsolicited pornography of Sonic the Hedgehog.Depends on the era. I had unsupervised Internet access in the 90's and wasn't groomed. Nowadays? It's very unsafe.
If you broaden the scope, yeah, 0%. I saw a LOT of porn. That's probably going in random.txt.I unironically credit early 4chan with preventing me from getting groomed because it taught me to hate furries before I met one, and sure enough that fucker sent me unsolicited pornography of Sonic the Hedgehog.
Anyway it depends on what you consider grooming, for example whether you consider EPI grooming when (((multi-million dollar corporations))) do it at scale, or when pedophiles introduce children to the concept of sexuality under the guise of LGBT advocacy, or when the pharmaceutical industry + medical industry push children to question their """gender identity""" in order to pipeline them into expensive voluntary surgeries and lifelong dependence on the products they conveniently sell. In that sense, 0%.
You might not have been groomed but you're hardly the best example to use for 'unsupervised internet access did nothing wrong.'Depends on the era. I had unsupervised Internet access in the 90's and wasn't groomed. Nowadays? It's very unsafe.
It definitely didn't do nothing wrong, it did expose me to a lot of porn, but technically I had already seen some before. You might not have been groomed but you're hardly the best example to use for 'unsupervised internet access did nothing wrong.'
I had unsupervised access to the internet in the 90s. I ran into some pedos on IRC but I was smart enough to tell them to fuck off immediately. My family was pretty blatant about teaching me that some adults are disgusting monsters, so I think that worked to my advantage. I would like to think I'm reasonably normal..porn has never appealed to me so I never got into anything deviant. Maybe it's because I'm female, or maybe it's because I was too busy being a nerd to get into anything badYou might not have been groomed but you're hardly the best example to use for 'unsupervised internet access did nothing wrong.'
It was more a lighthearted joke. You're far from the worst poster on this site. I generally don't mind your posts. It definitely didn't do nothing wrong, it did expose me to a lot of porn, but technically I had already seen some before.
As I said above, that was more a jab at ssj ness but I feel like the internet being newer for a lot of people back then generally made everyone a little more wary of potential dangers. But, as the internet slowly became a part of every day life and like with a lot of potentially dangerous things that become part of every day life, the dangers increasingly were downplayed or ignored, which isn't necessarily a bad thing because obviously whatever it is became useful enough to humanity that it became part of every day life but it also means people as a whole need to be more conscious about reminding everyone about the potential dangers of the thing.I had unsupervised access to the internet in the 90s.
