What is the logical reasoning behind grifter enablers?

How many of the donations are "fake" or just between friends ("pay me and I'll pay you back later") to trick naive followers into donating? For example, I'm sure most histories of onlyfans thots becoming rich overnight are fake as to provide advertising to the platform. In patreon, dangerhairs donate to each other so the supposed earnings cancel themselves.

That's a good point, I never considered it.
And the grifters with a lot of friends and relatives get their money through them, I suppose
