Unironically a great, classic "cosy" detective novel. It's a quick read, and I'd urge anyone to just to jump into it, and not spoil the story.

I have my Grandma's original copy from 1930s/40s that has this title, and a 60s/70s version from another relative where it's titled Ten Little Indians instead. I believe after that they gave up and just called it "And Then There Were None", which was the American title.

Read Foxfire. It's an anthology of interviews high school students did of old timers in 1970s Georgia. It has a wide variety of mountain culture.
