Every now and then in my life I get something I think can be called "kiss of the muse". It's some kind of really good idea or some determination that changes my life in fundamental ways that would seem impossible otherwise. Often I would try to replicate such a state of mind later, and utterly fail.
This can apply to all kinds of things ... a great idea for a meme, for a piece of art, a goal you set for your own life and then mercilessly pursue, charme to get laid, find love or make friends, etc. ...
Sometimes it's like you can tap into that "something" and it gives you inspiration, motivation and energy. It seems that the power it holds is limitless in my experience. It can take the worst and most impossible seeming problem in your life and resolve it in a matter of seconds (followed by a period of transformative discipline sometimes). It can give you energy to achieve almost anything.
I think many people chase this, and so do I, yet after decades of being alive, I have never once found a recipe to achieve this state of my own volition. It just comes, and then it goes, and there seems to be nothing you can do about it. You can prepare for it, so that you're more ready to follow it when it comes, but you can't control when it comes.
At least that's my own experience. Anyone share this?
Has anyone ever managed to find a way to consistently reach such a place? I think many "motivational speakers" and book authors owe their success to the promise of being able to reach that place, but in my experience it's all baloney. It seems like it's some rare resource everyone is after. So many that talk or write about it, in one way or another - books about "mindset" etc., yet nobody can reliably produce.
And also, what even is that "something"? What is the nature of that something? How come something this powerful can be there, a part of you, in one moment, and then be gone in the next? Kind of spooky when you think about it.
Or maybe I'm just completely alone with this and an autistic retard. Thoughts? Did I just get my food laced with coke on a few occasions?
