I said I was going to post it because regular readers of the Patrick thread that I started would likely find it informative and/or entertaining. Is everyone who actually contributes content looking or ass pats or clout? Can I cash out my Reaction Points for gift cards?
I basically left this site. Look at my fucking post history. Weeks between posts more and more often. But yeah, I'm trying to get that sweet, sweet Kiwiclout.
I'm just here to try to smooth shit over between the two forums. You've made two bullshit mischaracterizations of me in two posts.
I think you're engaging in some aspergers level misinterpretation of common grammar. When I write "you" in that post, it's an impersonal "you", not referring to you, Caverlock, directly. So let me rephrase in as exacting manner as possible:
If you (Caverlock) want to report about SFWA's tax circumstances to KF in the Patrick thread because it's interesting, on-point, funny, or whatever, then go for it. Literally nobody here has a problem with that.
If you (meaning anybody in the Patrick thread) want to report SFWA to the taxman, you can do it. But if you (again, meaning anybody in the Patrick thread) think it's serious enough to report to the feds, then you (meaning anybody who wants to report it to the feds) shouldn't feel any need to post about doing so to KF. If you (meaning anybody who reports such activity to the federal government) post in a KF thread about reporting, or encourage reporting, thread subjects to authorities in a KF thread, then you (meaning anybody who has reported such activity to the feds) are doing so for ass pats or clout. And that's fucking gay, on top of being something Josh has explicitly said not to do.
Hopefully that was clear. Nobody is accusing you (Caverlock) of wanting clout or whatever, even if other people in the thread take the information you (Caverlock) post and engage in cow tipping. You (Caverlock) should simply not encourage cow tipping or post about how you engaged in cow tipping. If that doesn't occur, then you (Caverlock) seem to be in the clear to the best of my knowledge.
