What is the point of telling Null to get out of a thread?

They're still using lingo and references from a radio show that's been dead for like 6 years and hasn't been good for like 15. I used to frequent the subreddit but once it shut down a lot of people moved on. These are the ones who can't.

Kiwi Farms is way bigger than the OnA forums, and the Patrick thread is huge. It's only natural that some of them would start posting here. They're the ones who discovered Pat, after all.

Pardon the divergence but what's the story with that? How can't an admin get rid of a website? Is the owner absent and the admin isnt the owner?

Assume its a case of them still wanting it up but no one else wants to run/pay for it. Just found out it was related to the opie and anthony show which is a name I havent heard since early youtube which was basically a radio show on some station you could swear on was the gimmick from my vague memory.

Sorry it took me a few days to answer, I had some irl stuff to take care of. Don't know if you'll care at all about a response, but I'll give it anyway:

1) Not only I've never swatted anyone, I have never interacted with a lolcow in anyway shape or form.

I loved the Pat thread because Pat was his own enemy. Did the Pests fuck with him? Sure. But there's stuff from 2008 which show hes always been his worst enemy. I never thought he needed anyone's help with that.

I hated the swatting just as much as you guys did. I won't deny his chimping out was funny, but it was NOT worth jeopardizing the thread (or some neighbor's life). Not only was the thread hilarious, it was the repository of all of his wrongdoings... I don't ever want that gone.
Ps: Also, I spent dozens/hundreds of hours trying (and failing then trying again untill it worked) to archive all I could there. Why would I want to throw that all away?

2) IRS Snitch: I'm not even an American. Even if I wanted to help the government agency that takes people's hard earned money away, I'm pretty sure I couldn't. Not that it matters: were I American or not, I detest paying taxes anyway.

3) Apologies: I will not in anyway apologize to Josh, for the simple fact that had he read the thread, he'd realize what was really going on. A lot of people tried to explain it to him, but despite being a smart man, Josh can be VERY stubborn when he wants to. And unfortunately this time he chose to not even try being fair.

Again, that doesn't mean I dislike him at all. Like I said before, he has a lot on his mind... he can't get it right all the time. And as someone who's been lurking since 2019, I truly appreciate this place.

That all being said, I WILL apologize to you and the other person I offended. I was pissed at how unfair people from outside the thread were being to everyone involved (despite 99% of people in the thread doing the best to calm things down). But the thruth is it doesn't matter what others say: as soon as you start getting angry, you're in the wrong. Being tired from spending the last 3 days trying to save the thread just to fail in the end does not justify acting like an asshole towards you, that other user or anyone else. I'm truly sorry about that.
