Having been somewhat involved with activism in my long lost youth, I can safely say that the worst thing about it was how unrealistic and vague it all was.
Basic goals like better working conditions and such always had to get mixed up with something more woke and absolutely out of context.
Generally speaking I had the strong impression that I was being played.

This is one of the few things I respect about the left. They know who they are (politically). What to fight for. The right has an identity crisis and it's why though they win some battles, they lose every war.

The right doesn't acknowledge the Big Problems, preferring to focus on good things. The left focuses on something bad and strives to keep it periphally in the narrative so other people will throw money at it for them to manage and remediate at their discretion.

Leftists aren't in power. They are just the useful idiots of bankers and billionaires who view the masses as interchangeable units to be abused and exploited. They are the weakest and least principled people in society and, more often than not, their psychology is mirrored by their physiognomy.

EDIT: I'd also like to note that most non-whites are not leftists in the true sense. They just align with the left because it benefits their group. Somone like Cenk Uygur would be a good example. He's quite bullish and brash and psychologically very different to your average soyboy white leftist. If he was in his homeland he'd be a staunch nationalist. This is the case for many 'left-wing' non-whites.
