I've said before that I would have been a staunch leftist 150 years ago.

My problem with the modern left is the fact that they've devolved into a circus freak show made up exclusively of psychotic retards.

The modern leftists' capacity for magical thinking is unparalleled. Think of how many genuinely stupid things they openly proclaim. Blacks are just like us! Gays just want to be left alone! etc.

Literally nothing believed by the modern left has any basis in fact, but good luck convincing a group of people whose average IQ is in the low double digits of that.

Case in point? Listen to AOC blather about monetary policy. It amounts to little more than her slobbering out, "Over here is where we will plant the magic beans so they can grow into money trees! I am very smart!"

I can't really blame the modern lefties for being as stupid and happily ignorant as they are though. They've had a great dea of success with their Long March Through the Institutions, so it's not really surprising that they manage to do thoroughly insulate themselves inside their own little bubbles of idiocy.

I don't think that the right wing is entirely hopeless though, because the left gets browner and stupider, (Say what you will about Alinsky, he would have never been stupid enough to let The Squad gain any actual power) it creates opportunities for right wing populism to gain a foothold and shift the Overton Window back in the proper direction.

Those, and other obvious things aside, I don't believe I've ever met a leftist after 2004 that wasn't a humongous sex-pest in some way or another. The fact that they have to not only put their identity on a pedestal, but also make their sexuality the sole defining trait of that identity, is fucking obnoxious. I thought the left were the people who took a bunch of psychedelics and experienced ego death so they could have a closer relationship to the world as it is, but all they seem to want to do is wear a catsuit with rainbow dildos glued to it, or sexually assault women during feminist meetings, or feed estriadol to minors.

Over obsession with optics. Would rather all go out for a fun photoshoot where they stand in front of some housing projects and do community service as opposed to actually figuring out effective ways to render services.

This is probably the most frustrating one for me. All this talk of emissions, all the pollution, all the waste, yet they drive a new car and buy a new iphone every year, and live fully on the grid, buying only name-brand shit. It's almost like they don't believe their own bullshit.

Because I want to adopt positions of ultra violence, pessimism, and Cynicism on principle as so far that’s been the only thing that’s kept me alive in my career (dealing with poorly documented electrics stuff) and I get to be pleasantly surprised all the time. Positions that groups I work with often appreciate the second we find something wrong when I make us touch on the fundamentals of what we’re looking at.

The left is genuinely unable to understand this position as anything other than extreme “ists” and “phobes”. The entire thing is built on a platform of perpetual bitter, hate filled optimism and denial.

Ask someone “what if your wrong” on anything reasonable in industry to a professional and at a minimum, you’ll learn something new about the device. Ask that to the unemployed, suicidal ex Applebees worker who thinks she could dictate society and at most you’ll get a snarky response that dodges the question.

Language is a reflection of human mind, and words are generalisations, but they believe that words can change reality. Its obvious when you look at troons and their mantras, but other lefties also do that. Don't say nigger, or you'll bring about the curse! The fact that the modern day left has absolutely no standards or fundamental principles to adhere to, and that they are so lacking in self-awareness they don't even realize it.

With nearly every worldview or ideology, there is a set of principles; fundamental, core values upon which you build the entirety of your beliefs. Leftists do not have any principles, no creeds, no core values to appeal to. Everything they say and believe is based on whatever they want at any given moment. Their beliefs and values can change in an instant and they're so lacking in intelligence and wisdom they don't even notice. They'll blather on about how rape is evil and we live in a rape culture, but in the next instant will cheer for Islamic terrorists raping and enslaving women. They'll cry about how racism is bad but will happily engage in it and even cover it up if the victim is white. They'll decry capitalism and big business as malicious and exploitative, but then go right to the Apple store and drop $2,000 on a brand new iPhone, while also giving Disney and Google and every other big corporation thousands of dollars for meaningless consumerist toys. They'll say all cops are bastards and condemn law enforcement for murderers and rapists, but will happily sic the DOJ and FBI against perceived enemies of the state and lock those enemies up for life.

This is why I despise the left. You cannot argue with them, you cannot debate with them, you cannot reason with them, because they have no worldview, no principles, no standards, no logic, and no rationale. Everything they say is simply based on how they feel at the present time, and all of it is fluid and constantly changing on a whim. Notice how quickly these leftie governors flipped from "illegal immigration is good, we're a sanctuary city" to "stop sending immigrants here, we can't take care of them," without a hint of irony or self-awareness. You can't argue with people who have no real worldview or principles, and it's why they infuriate me so much. With a normal person I disagree with, most of the time we can have a discussion on the issues and both have some kind of principle or standard, and that's where we hash out the details. We start from a common fundamental principle and apply that to specific circumstances and instances. You cannot do this with the left. They have no fundamental principles. Any argument or debate with them is completely pointless and a waste of time, because they have no rational basis for anything they claim to believe.

Ok I'm gonna add a fifth point but it only applies specifically to white leftoids: the stupid ass outgroup preference. This not only sets them apart from leftoids of other ethnic origins(mostly depends on what rung of the progressive stack ladder they're on, because I see Asian leftoids posit themselves as if they're basically "le huwaite oppressor", because they're somehow automatically white because of the 'successful minority' thing, hence my personal conspiracy theory of leftoids seeing White, Jew, Asian as some trinity of ethnicities that they consider anathema, the only reason Indians don't register as the fourth member is, aside from the fact they're brown, you barely see successful Indians go "this leftoid shit is nonsense"-- anyway)

Maybe I shouldn't call it outgroup preference moreso that they demand preference towards Black, Muslim(which is all about turning people into the ideals of a group of 7-8th century Arabs), the third of their Race Trinity changes depends on which leftoid you interact with. It's more than just depravity, even.... its like, the left is literally animals who seem to think sex is the be-all end-all.

Thinking about it, I remember seeing a TV show once which tried to explain why humanity makes art. The one and only theory it offered was "its the human version of peacock's feathers" (IE its to attract a mate). The person who wrote that is probably a leftist now, because this is endemic to their thought.

Everything revolves around sex to them, to the point that even their insults tend to be sex-based.

I told a friend once, "Progressives have thought more about my genitals than I ever have." It's true though--I hear progressives say every day that anything I say, think, or do is somehow a result of my penis. They literally talk about it more than I do.

This probably of course explains why they don't mind sexualizing kids--they probably can't comprehend a life without sex, so childhood innocence is some weird null zone to them. They probably can't comprehend it existing.
