I hate that it teaches people to see themselves as victims of society, and to blame all of their failures on some nebulous oppressive force, instead of their own sloth, entitlement, or bad attitude-and because of this, they are owed compensation.

I hate how it took people I considered to be friends and it turned them into vicious bullies that have convinced themselves that they're actually the victims, smiling at people as they feed them a shit sandwich from behind a fig leaf of phony virtue.

I hate how it has subverted feminism--actual feminism that empowers women--into a movement that serves the needs of women-hating men in dresses.

I hate how it preys upon vulnerable children and indoctrinates them into a cult that exacerbates their psychological problems, then tells them mutilate their bodies if they want to stay in the cult's good graces. Or alternatively, to do this to their own kids as proxy. All the while psychiatry cheers them on.

I hate how it sells a false narrative that makes it okay to burn and loot our cities, followed by politicians looking the other way while this happens, if not outright enabling it.

I hate how it uses emotional extortion and intimidation to silence meaningful criticism and dissent by framing it as malicious violence and/or moral turpitude.

I hate how it has spawn a generation of leaders more interested in their own self-aggrandizement rather than doing the jobs they were elected to do.

I hate how it has promoted a zero-sum us-versus-them mindset that has made compromise and negotiation into dirty words, ensuring nothing gets done while the world gets worse, or what does get done happens in the most self-serving way possible.

I hate how it has ironically made race relations, acceptance of gay people, and all of the other problems social justice is supposed to solve worse--except it isn't really ironic, it's completely predictable.

But I especially hate how everyone sees this happening and then pretends not to. How the fantasy has become increasingly divorced from reality, and pointing this out means you're a bad person. The moralizing hypocrisy of it all, just for that dopamine rush of saccharine self-righteousness.

The problem with the right's approach is its often clumsy, slow, ineffective, and lacking in proper confidence or direction, the problem with the lefts approach is they either keep their head in the clouds and pointlessly theorize forever, or they fall so in love with their own theories that once they're put into practice, if they don't work, they can't accept that and blame reality for not conforming to their whims. This has only increased in recent decades because the working classes, which once kept the left at least a little bit grounded in reality have now been abandoned and turn increasingly to the right, while the left now is the political side of bourgois student politics, fringe social issues, globalist interests and extremist larping.

This inability to adjust to reality and to people in real time I would say is also the reason why they seem to be losing the culture war.

I don't necessarily hate the left or the people on it, but I do have some very big problems with it.
The left is dangerous for one reason only and that's the promotion of collectivism-- the hive mind this world is becoming where everyone has to think a certain way or you're automatically a bigot. Combine that with people who are sensitive (there are sensitive people out there) and everyone not in the in-crowd is automatically cancelled. It got its start on the Internet and is now being taught to the next generation through YouTube, Netflix, and books. The kids being raised right now are more anxious and depressed than ever and it's that way since everyone has to have the same opinion. It's partially the Internet, the news media, the instant world we live in...
However, individualism is our nature. No one has the "right way" of seeing the world. Joe Friday from Dragnet summed it up perfectly: "we haven't got perfect people". A collectivist society looks pretty on the outside as naturally you might see everyone else exactly like you. In reality though, no one is. Everyone has their own opinions, quirks, and experiences. These experiences may be with people, ideas, animals, places, you name it! The left pushes this "individuality" message to "march to the beat of your own drum" and things of that nature. What they don't tell you is "march to the beat of your own drum but if you're not POC, LGBT, or what we want, you're the enemy". Honestly, the people on the left are either well-meaning rich folks who don't look past their phone screens or people that aren't as fortunate and think if everyone were to simply care like the left tells them they do if they're special enough. The people that claim to be victims are indeed victims, but not in the way they think. They joined an in-crowd that will hurt them to get out of.

Essentially, I see the right (for the most part) knee jerk reacting to the left's insanity. Occassionaly, you get a Rand Paul popping up...but they get demonized quicky by the liberal media.

Simple, what we would call the mainstream "left" has become everything they originally opposed.

Mindless consumerism (especially pornography and useless status symbols) and outright worship of corporations, the use of blended state/corporate/media power for censorship against dissidents, slavish worship of authority in all forms, embracing warmongering. justification for war crimes...the list goes on and on. Obama was one of the worst warmongers and war criminals in this nation's history who implemented the first system in this country that mandated everyone purchase a corporate product but the modern left worships him!

Gone are the days of union workers fighting against corrupt trade deals and corporate closures of their plants, the hippies protesting the Vietnam War and demanding an end to the insanity of the US-USSR arms race, the Stonewall rioters fighting for legitimate gay rights and protections, protests against Union Carbide's atrocities in Bhopal, leftists violently attacking the WEF, WTO, IMF and corrupt corporations, feminists protesting pornography for its clearly detrimental impact on society, Monsanto's genetic warfare against farmers, Occupy Wall Street and its demands. the list goes on and on.

Nowadays, if Monsanto, Chase or Goldman Sachs put a rainbow flag on their logos and post a Linkedin article from a preferred "minority", they're as good as golden and absolved from all their past crimes. I attribute a lot of this to the death of religion/spirituality and community on the left and the rise of social media, as well as the ever-more-intrusive role of technology in their lives.

With no higher goal or purpose in life that would have motivated past generations of left-wing activists, they are willing to roll over and support authority so long as they can continue to attempt to fill that gaping hole left by the lack of spirituality by mindlessly consuming useless and childish garbage, terrible, uninspired media, disgustingly perverted and degrading pornography and gutter swill "food" all provided by their loving corporate overlords...

....and last but not least by punishing those who oppose them to attempt to justify their awful lives.

This is an old OP, but it's being bumped a lot, so I might as well as respond.

First, define "left". What do we mean by "the left"?

Liberal? Socialist? Collectivist? Votes Democrat? Is a niggerfaggot? Something else?

I don't really like the terms "the left" and "the right" as these terms are poorly defined, contextually relative, often materially incorrect, and implicitly advance the premise that we live in a world of simple, single-axis positions, when in reality, philosophy and politics are far more complicated than that, with positions that are mappable to numerous axes (many of which are, I would argue, both more interesting and more important than whatever axis we have currently assigned to "left" and "right").

But I'd be happy to say what I hate about "the left", if we can agree upon a definition beforehand.
