What is this on my monitor?

I recently bought a new monitor and just set it up. Notice this glowing pixel on the middle bottom of it. Only shows up on light colors, but anything dark it works fine. I wouldn't think it be a dead pixel cause it would be dead no matter the color being displayed on it.

Any ideas?

UPDATE:

Called Dell support and tbh...those pajeets are alright. Only took my 30 minutes overall with customer support and they'll be picking up the defective one tomorrow while replacement comes in by Thursday this week. Cheers brown boys from across the sea!

I'd say this is some kind of backlight damage or something like that, since this specific area correctly displays the colors but has a different brightness.

In a way, yes! I mean I have to give credit where credit is due. they did fix me with my problem. It's annoying it happen but they are dealing with it in a reasonable timely manner.
