So, I was walking through my local 7-11 the other day, and I found this bit of nonsense.

Curiosity got the better of me and I tried it. The weird thing is, it really did kind of taste like crunch berries, only in crushed ice form. It even had a chalky mouth feel like drinking the milk after eating the cereal does... It was really strange, and I don't think I would try it again.

Which got me thinking, what other bizarre variations/flavors of normal foods have you seen and tried? Do they taste how you thought they would, or like something else? Would you have them again?
 
Walkers Chips "lamb and mint". Its just weird, but I like it.



Also, in germany we have chips with sausage flavor...

A mexican friend got me a while ago a whole package of wine and chily flavored lays
They were surprisingly good

A short lived now discontinued food almost universally hated for it's taste and texture.

...but I loved it.

The texture was kind of lumpy yeah, but the cheese flavor was just something else. Didn't taste like Goldfish though.

Never heard of that, but I feel your pain... There have been so many temporary products that I wish had stayed permanent...
 
It's not an official thing but once while I was running on an hour of sleep in the past three days at around 3-4 in the morning and very thirsty/very hungry, I thought it would be a good idea to put mustard and chopped onion in my milk
From what I remember, it didn't taste half bad to my (lack of) sleep-addled brain

I really liked Diet Coke Plus, but that didn't last long either. I must have been one of the few who enjoyed it.

I found a few cases of it once at a local job lot store, and bought them all at @.25/can. Lasted me a month. It was great.

Raw garlic ice cream with cantaloupe. The heat of the ice cream flavor and the creamyness off At perfectly by the fruit. They only really serve it properly at the Gilroy Garlic Festival, so....
But it is to DIE FOR. Seriously. Even if you hate garlic, it is good. My old man hates garlic with a passion, but loves this.
