What is wrong with people who watch Vtubers?

I feel like this subject isn't brought up enough. What has to go wrong in a persons life that they resort to watching vtubers?

That's true. There's also a difference between watching someone stream and developing a genuine parasocial relationship.

I don't know, it gives me the creeps. Don't they think about what kind of person becomes a vtuber? What kind of person doesn't want you to know what they look like, but wants you to think of them as a little anime girl? To me the obvious answer is BPD fat/ugly women, ugly gay dudes with a straight guy fetish, troons, and pedophiles. Doesn't that realization ever intrude on the fantasy? The whole thing is bizarre to me.

But the BPD ones are the most fun to watch
