What is your favorite Geological Time Period or Event. - It can be a specific epoch or stage (Wenlock) or an entire eon (Precambrian). I don't care.

For anyone who has had an interest in Evolution. There has been some events that happen to be very interesting and revolutionary. Some of my favorite include the Silurian - Devonian Terrestrial Revolution where Prototaxite forests become Archaeopteris forests. Also, things that really interest me are billion year old fungi fossils and the fact that Jellyfishes may exist as far back as 700 million or even a billion years. As well as the fact that Stars like Adhara was the brightest star in the Night Sky nearly 5 million years ago.

The Carboniferous seems like it would be incredible, a mix between hell and heaven depending on what type of person you are.

Whatever period was a couple millions years ago when the giant beavers and sloths, and glyptodonts were roaming around. I love those big bastards
