We can go on tours as living proof that IQ tests are useless, because I got 156 on the one I had to take in high-school and I'm pretty stupid.

Like SAT/ACT scores, all an IQ test score shows is how well someone did on that particular test. It's just a bit of a blow to an already crappily low self-image to find out that you registered that low.

Of course I force myself to live by verrryy different sets of rules than everybody else.
 
Last time I took a test was a few years ago, but I remember getting 132.
 
My scores have been between 121 and 134. My conclusion? I'm either "superior" or "very superior" at taking standardized tests.

Intelligence is too fluid and contextual to measure accurately using IQ. A mathematician probably couldn't survive in the Outback, but an Aborigine tribesman probably couldn't derive mathematical proofs. So who's smarter? It depends on the context.

Anyhow, I'd wager that social aptitude -- specifically, the ability to anticipate the thoughts and feelings of others and use them to your advantage -- is a better indicator of success than IQ.

Note also that Christian is what happens when you lack both IQ and social intelligence.
 
113. Not all that intelligent. Plus, I really sucked on this one part that had to do with memorizing; memory is not my strongest point, especially not flashing something in front of me and telling me to remember it.
 
I don't actually know. I know it's pretty high. I'm pretty awesome at things like moving shapes around in my head, vocabulary, and arithmetic which always seemed to be the standard fare for IQ tests. I kind of wanna take a Mensa-qualifying for shits and giggles but I don't think I'd join. As others have said, IQ isn't really a good measure of anything except IQ.
 
There's a lot of high IQs in here. I guess it takes some level of intelligence to fully appreciate the insanity of some of these lolcow types.
 
We have no compulsory IQ tests over here, so I've never taken one.

Whenever someone mentions IQ, this quote pops up in my head. That is why I'm taking this thread with a spoonful of salt.

If I were to guess, it would be average or lower average, just judging by my recents accomplishments, or lack thereof. I wouldn't know, really, I have severe self-esteem issues that make me subconsciously set myself up for failure.
 
Superior and very superior? Lol. I'd fuck those virgin nerds up.

I've been scored at 125, 130, and 138 in my life.
 
Very superior, will not state the actual number.

I'd actually prefer to have a lower IQ and have developed proper study skills.
