What kind of mouse do you use?

I'm using some kind of Logitech mouse. I have no idea what type it is or when it was bought since it was just something I found lying around while searching for a new mouse to replace my broken one.

So today I bought a Microsoft sculpt comfort mouse

It's a nice enough mouse. I only have a few complaints, and they are deal breakers to a lot of people depending on who you are.

First, it's bluetooth only. And it was fairly buggy until I updated my drivers and restarted my computer. Now it seems to be alright. But it doesn't come with a dongle so you must have a bluetooth adapter on your computer. Either built into your laptop or bought separately.

Second, it has a blue button on the side that defaults to the home button. It also allows you to "swipe" up and down it which produces a different button press for each. Either swipe is rebindable however the home button is not. Unless you fiddle with it in something like auto-hotkey

Other than that I really like the shape, in particular since I have a claw grip and it suits both palm and claw.

I just realized the mouse I'm using right now has speed holes in it (to make it go faster).*

It's a black generic GE USB mouse.

I own a laptop, so I mostly use the touchpad. I actually had some time to game recently, and reached into my desk drawer full of tech, this is what I found.

This is the Kensington PilotMouse Optical 72127. I might still have the PS/2 adapter.

I use a bamboo fun tablet, it came with a mouse so I use that.
It's like 8 years old and going strong!

Logitech MX Performance. Had the Revolution prior to this. Love this line of mice and probably will get the Master once the price drops in a couple of years. Most comfortable mouse I've ever had.

I had one like that. The rubber got worn out so fast, didnt even last a year. I'm sticking to hard plastic since then.

So I got a Steel Series Rival

So far no complaints that aren't superficial. It operates very nicely, is very easy to configure and is made out of fairly high quality plastic and rubber. My favorite feature of the mouse is how customizeable the LED is. You can tailor the LED to change to a different color for every game you play. Ontop of changing what each of the buttons do. (So in the case of the Mouse 4/Mouse 5 buttons I can map them if I'm playing a game that doesn't support them). Stuff like that. Very neat stuff.

The faceplate on the rear of the mouse that says "RIVAL" is also removable, and you can buy a 3D printed version that says whatever you want to replace it.

Some shit mouse that double clicks and loses it's drag often. I've been saving up to get a new GPU and mouse so I just have to wait until I save up.
I've been really sitting in the idea of getting a R.A.T-7.

I personally don't see the appeal with getting one considering it's so absurdly expensive.

There are much cheaper mice that perform just as well that you don't need to choose between it and a new graphics card for.

I have the same one Stickmeat posted. Gonna go back to a nice Logitech for the next one though, since I don't play MMOs anymore.

This thing:

It's 8 years old and still works as it always has. Except the scroll wheel, which has some difficulty scrolling up.
I don't know a whole lot about computer mice.
This looks like much more awesome version of the g400

I use one of these, a Corsair M95. I've set up those up/down buttons you can see next to the left button to cycle between virtual desktops which is insanely convenient.

So my mouse that was that cheap as fuck semitransparent one that there's a jillion of on ebay died after a year or so.

Worked great until a wire frayed, well worth the buck thirty it cost, so I got five more on the way from China. I'm gonna leave them at work for me to use there and stuff. At that cheap a price they're up there with those 5-for-a-dollar toothbrushes at wal-mart.

Also since I was so pleased with the lifespan of my cheap mouse that I went for a whopping THREE DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS super omega 2400 dpi whoopity shit mouse. Should be interesting to see how that works.

And wtf why are there no cheap trackballs. Even that logitech trackball everybody has owned at least once is twenty bucks.

The bamboo fun tablet is still hanging in there and working great.
Why do people spend five hundo dollars on a big wacom that dies in a few years when they could buy a hundred dollar wacom bamboo fun and have it last for nearly a decade. I think I might have just lucked out with the hardware lasting this long
