What kinda watch do you use? - wrist/smart/pocket

I have bunch of old rolex and japanese watches from the 80s
Post em!

If you have any air kings you are willing to part with or, your two cents on ownership.

They are a great buy right now (many for sub 4 figures) very understated and smaller case size, only a watch person would ever know you have anything of quality let alone a Rolex.

One watch that every collector should own imho is a Seiko Monster (Orange master race imho)

It's big heavy and gaudy AF. It's my go to SCUBA watch too. Only thing I've done is mod the 0-15 range in the bezel red since I do use for diving and it's my last fail safe on my O2. It's a nice little mod and was easy just scrap the black paint off and a dark red nail polish to fill in. They are in the 100-200 dollar range and tanks of a watch.

Here's the Quickster. Old photo mind you hence date not matching.

part of the charm and it's really a good duty watch. Trust me I beat the piss outta diving gear and it's not worth enough I stress but still I trust it with my life due to quality.

Plus it's guady as all get out. They make a more subtle black and limited press yellow.

Edit: now you all know im not fat and a southpaw. Practically self doxed.

I haven't used a watch since I started carrying a cell phone everywhere. The last watch I had was a fake Rolex. I didn't buy it, someone gave it to me.

I used a Baby G watch for years. It was pretty cool. You could program it to alternate between 8 letters to make up a word, and it also told the day of the week.

Now I just use my phone. If someone were to gift me a watch, I'd ask for a fitness and sleep tracking one; though I heard they aren't really reliable.

I haven't worn a watch since I got my first shitty flipphone in 2004, but my last one was a Nixon Scout that's currently sitting in a desk drawer with a dead battery.

I remember this kid in middle school had this awesome watch that used to also function as a TV remote. He would make the TV in the classroom turn off and on randomly and would change the channel or volume all the time. The teacher though the TV was possessed.

It was great.

Oh, and I use a Fitbit Charge 2.

I started wearing a watch about eight months ago, and I don't know how I got by without one. Can't live without it now.

My problem is that I have really, really small pussy wrists and most watches look comical on me, so I have to look for ones with really small cases

I've been wearing a Nixon Comp S that I got on Amazon for $30. Fits all my criteria, and it's treated me well despite being pretty rough on it.

For the last week I've been wearing my Hamilton Khaki King Automatic. It's the updated version with the H-40 movement (which is basically just a re-branded ETA C07.111 with a jeweled escapement) instead of the ETA 2834-2. It's a lower beat rate, but you get 80(ish) hours of power reserve, which is nice.

I go back and forth on this watch. I'll really enjoy wearing it for about a week, but then get really sick of looking at it. I'll move on to other watches for about a month or so, but then come back to the Hamilton and wonder what ever could've bothered me so much about it in the first place. It's really perplexing. That aside, it's still one of my favorite less-expensive watches, just because of what you get for your money.

Casio W59. Cheap, tough and easily replaced. I can't wear an expensive watch for work because it would be destroyed in hours and I never wear a watch otherwise. Also I can't let the 90's die.

I wear a Casio A178W. It's a nice looking watch, nothing too fancy but it still looks good. I prefer wearing watches because it's a lot more convenient than using my phone; there's no digging it out and having to turn it out then put it back in my pocket. Just check my wrist and there's the time.

Dude, I love Casios. I have an F91-W and a DB-36 that I really dig. I also have a couple of discontinued quartz Edifices that I would probably fight muggers over. From an aesthetic standpoint, I think they're better designed and styled than some high-end Swiss automatics.

Edifices are hit or miss though. Some of them are total eyesores.

Also, I love my Swiss wristwatches, but if zombie times ever happen I'm grabbing one of my G-shocks or Protreks.

I don't use a watch or have anything on my fingers. I tell the time from my biological clock. I'm actually pretty close to time.
