What makes KiwiFarms unique and special to you?

I think people here are just genuine and I appreciate that after a long day of fake propaganda news and fake colleagues trying not to say the wrong thing and fake leaders whose only concern is grifting more money from the system and fake TV shows that all have forced interracial couples and fake video games with tranny characters and fake food full of bullshit chemicals and fake music sung by pedophile faggots and the list of fake and gay goes on and on and on. Modern society is just fake and gay and I appreciate some honesty once in a while.

It's a deceptively sweet place.

I appreciate its lack of filter, people coming from all walks of life talking about their experiences instead of coming here to receive a reassuring pat on the back despite their mental problems and the honesty from everyone. In general, I have a lot of respect for sites where you can be wrong or short on information and not get relegated to the bottom of the page, but that's a common thing with forums.

KF is just full of normal people being people. Plenty of users sharing their passions, interests, workplace stories and all sorts of anecdotes. On top of that, these that are hurt by words are naturally terrified by the concept of slurs not being bannable, so everyone here is bound to have thick skin, which is somewhat reassuring - you can be blunt with them.

I hope you all have a wonderful day or night. You all deserve it.

I like how you can mostly talk about whatever you want and the site owner doesn't intervene to enforce his personal opinions. Typically, as a forum ages, the owner starts using the mod tools to progressively kick out everyone who doesn't agree with some particular idiosyncratic pet issue of his, turning the place into a boring echo chamber. As far as I can tell, the main ways to get banned here are defend pedophiles, personally insult null over and over until he finally tells you to fuck off, or use DMs for ERP.

My freedom. To act shamelessly retarded, that is.
To see genuine fucking fuck ups like this fucking faggot right here poke their head out act like a retard and get mocked.

Probably the funniest such case was that cough syrup dude back in 2019 or 2020.

Kiwi Farms feels like a relic of the old internet. Not only is it a traditional forum, but I'm able to call people retarded without being banned. It's also informative. Reading up on random communities has become a favorite past time of mine.

Came here all those years ago because it was the only place I could express my revulsion at fat tranny ogres hunting in ladies' bathrooms without immediately getting the banhammer. I stayed for all the faggots swearing to make the farms disappear only to crawl back into their hovels after their half-baked schemes to destroy the farms inevitably collapsed into a wet fart. Watching Null tell actual foreign governments to go choke on a dick also never gets old.

This is one of the only places left on the internet where I can point and laugh at eccentric retards who voluntarily put the worst of themselves on display for the world to see.

Despite the conservative bent of much of its userbase, Kiwi Farms is one of the last truly liberal things left online -- liberal in the older sense of the word, concerned with maximizing personal liberties. It's one of the last places on the web where users are entitled to the freedoms of speech and privacy we used to take for granted.

It’s refreshing to see people speak their minds without sugarcoating or fearing a ban. The farms offers an unfiltered view of different communities (whether it's furries, fandoms, developers, or e-celebs) and it becomes clear that they're just weird people, often deeply caught up in their own worlds and delusions.

Truth is found in the spaces between the noise.

One of the things I find unique and special is that this is a very diverse website. You can see evidence of it in the funny pictures thread. Someone will post the most dogshit facebook tier memes unironically, followed by someone else posting something that makes me cry laughing.

Another thing I wanted to add; I think kiwifarms has made me a better person overall. I've learned to see humour in a lot of things and I see life in a completely different perspective. You learn a shit ton from people because of the nature of the site. People's input is simply more valuable.

Also, definitely made my college days less miserable. Can't really think of many sites which kept me entertained. Kinda sad because it made me realize how fucking small and useless the modern web is.

Like the others have said, KF is a breath of fresh air in the politically-dominated internet of today; while I admit that my overall thoughts on the site as a whole are... complicated, I still think that it's a nice place to have just to get away from wokeshit. I'm tired of sites like RPG.net, Discord and Reddit where you have to walk on eggshells just to get a question answered... and even in those rare cases, those guys tend to be either smarmy or idiotic. Meanwhile, KF users tend to provide actual advice and answers on issues, and there's plenty of places to look; it's something I'm genuinely thankful for.

Like, serious shout-out to the guys over on The Writing Thread; HUGE help with getting a particular monster race design cleared up.

I also think that it's...helpful, that people tend to be so much more "mature" here; yes, we do occasionally get the occasional whiner, but people here in general tend to act more like adults, compared to the whiny manchildren of some other places. It's a place for just about everyone, and I feel like there's something for a wide variety of audiences, beliefs, ideologies, etc., so long as you're not particularly thin-skinned. While I have disagreed privately with some things I've seen here, it's at the least comforting to know that the people here are, well, actual people, and not the brain-damaged drones of wokeshit. Slightly ironic, given how the site tends to discourage revealing personal information and even encourages making a new email, but it still feels more alive compared to the alternatives.

As for why I'm sperging; I dunno, guess I just keep getting reminded of the numerous attempts to get the site taken down, to say nothing of the DDOS attacks. Makes me glad you all are still around, warts and all; I'd take you lot over Reddit and co. any day of the bloody week.
