What makes you Very Happy?

Anyway, for me, it's hearing somebody's gratitude.

YES. Hearing true gratitude from someone out in the world is so rare, everyone feels so entitled to everything or is just so wrapped up in their own stress and/or bullshit that they take almost everything for granted. I don't take it personally when gratitude is not given for my actions, but receiving it is really something special and I never forget it when it happens

The birds that hang around my bird feeder. I can watch them for hours. The cardinals and finches are my favorites. They eat so much when it's cold.
My mom's like that too. The only difference is I want total squirrel death for being little niggers and stealing the birdseed from the birds, whereas my mom thinks they're cute and doesn't mind their thievery.

Just off the top of my head, cats. But I got that from your name so I’ll read the rest and get back to you on more ideas

Yes a lot of people remarked about the “do good feel good” effect we have in our psyche. Gratitude and service to others is nice.

For me personally, I love when I give a compliment and it’s well received, like finding a friends doodles that are surprisingly well-drawn for mere doodles and remarking at the technique. Or visiting someone’s home and letting the words fall out of my mouth how neat I think it is. As I am gazing at the ceiling or wall decorations, out of the corner of my eye I can see them look at me and smile. People know I can be honest to a fault, so when I effortlessly say something nice about them they know it’s sincere and it means so much more.

Oh and giving good advice, and you can see the cogs in peoples heads turn as you talk and they have a minor “Eureka!” moment that helps solve a problem. That’s a great feeling, showing people they had the power all along.
