What mascot or character will be cancelled next?

getting rid of the Blackhawks, Braves, or Seminole because those are named cultures from those regions.
Not the Braves. They started in Boston, moved to Milwaukee and finally settled in Atlanta.

Oddly, the Washington Football Team formerly known as the Redskins started in Boston as well, and called themselves that because they played at the same field the Boston Braves did, before moving to Washington.

As an aside, my old High School had an Indian themed name. It is now something stupid that makes no sense. Won't powerlevel the name, It was kind of unique.

Going the other way, The College of the Holy Cross (Worcester, MA) will continue to be known as the Crusaders. All to the good, but the video vomits up some of the most mealy mouthed bullshit I think I've ever heard. I felt like spamming Deus Vult! in the comments.🙄

The late 90s/early 2000s raunchy teen comedies I'm surprised haven't been cancelled by woketards yet. Movies like American Pie, Road Trip, Dude Where's My Car. They had tranny jokes, gay jokes, race jokes, and the worst crime of all...they are completely heteronormative. Guy wants to end up with girl? We can't have that filth in Current Year!

I think the only reason they haven't been "cancelled" by the Woke Left in the same way a lot of older media has been is because they've largely been forgotten.

The raunchy teen comedies from the turn of the millennium are mostly beneath the notice of the Woke Left because they're not popular with the hated Boomers (unlike classic rock and Westerns) and they're also not Japanese in origin (unlike anime and JRPG's/weeb games) so they're not going to wind up targeted for cancellation just on principle despite all the problematic content.

Also, most of those movies aren't really in the eye of the wider public like capeshit movies or a franchise like Star Wars. At best, they're seen as curios from the late 90's and early 2000's The average Late Millennial or Early Zoomer probably just remembers them as "those R-rated comedies you'd see commercials for on TV every so often" and that's it.

Dude, breadtube esque "movie reviewers" and "video essayists" are already doing that. They're already been going after ecelebs for past jokes or stuff like Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog for being too incel.

Attacking Dr. Horrible for being "incel propaganda" is autistic even by BreadTube standards and I'm surprised the that Marvel-loving beardos who make up much of BreadTube are attacking it, given that it's Whedon.

Wasn't the whole point of that movie about how Dr. Horrible was a clueless dork who'd be a lot happier and wouldn't be a forever alone "Nice Guy" if he dropped the supervillian shtick, quit acting like a tryhard Nice Guy, and lived a normie life.

At this point, anything where a guy is in love with a girl and isn't black, Injun, or an FTM troon fakeboi is going to be demonized as either "incel" or "rapey" by the BreadTube dangerhairs and beardos depending on the man's appearance and personality.

Actual self-identified incels are retarded but at this point, they're being amplified into some Satanic Panic bullshit and aren't the true and honest Eliot Roger self-identified unironic incel types tend to be as fringe and crazy as actual theistic Satanists were in the 80's and 90's.

Given what will be entering public domain in the coming year I wouldn't be surprised if soon-to-be-former copyright owners try to astroturf cancellations on their fleeting properties to scare away competitors from using them afterwards. For example they could try to cancel Tarzan and Jimi Hendrix a week from now.

EDIT: Even better, 1984 and Animal Farm are to enter UK's public domain, sounds like an even stronger possibility.

The woketard's seemingly ultimate goal is to have only white people and culture portrayed on products and through names because it's 'safe.' To achieve this, very other culture and skin color's portrayal (even if positive) will be run through such a high bar what is 'acceptable' and such a low bar as to what is 'offensive,' that any portrayal at all will be almost impossible. This is 'benevolent' paternal racism, where the non-white people are considered so 'fragile' by their all knowing white woke saviors who know what's best for their fragile wards, that any portrayal not impossibly perfect will shatter their wards' childlike and innocent minds into a bajillion pieces and leave them a gibbering suicidal wreck in a fetal position. No matter if it is the Native American especially who does the artwork (Land o' Lakes) their white keepers will gently remove any 'offensive' image not held to their impossible standards, because Woketards are the ones that decide what's best for them.

Thus nothing mentioning Native Americans, African Americans, the diverse ethnic group of Hispanics, various Asians and more.

And what is ironic is that even if something gets through their impossibly high standards of what is considered acceptable, what's to say they won't find that unacceptable later, and decide to erase even that portrayal? The Land o' Lakes Butter Maiden was made by a Native artist doing an accurate portrayal of a woman of his tribe in traditional dress, yet the Wokies declared even that a problem. Just because it's on some product (reaching millions of people by the way) rather then some extremely narrow category and vague obscure niche (that they don't define) that they deem 'acceptable' or allowable for anything like that to be shown in.

I'm honestly surprised Col. Sanders hasn't been removed yet, considering he's basically the caricature of the antebellum plantation owner: an old, white Southerner in a white suit. But then again, maybe the reason why he's still here unchallenged is because the KFC brand is too much ingrained into American pop culture and that the company has a major presence on social media and memes (albeit forced memes). I guess maybe that's why: Col. Sanders is popular on an international scale, whereas problematic sports mascots (like Chief Wahoo or the Redskins logo) are only relegated to specific geographic regions. No one outside of Ohio gives a rat's ass about the Cleveland Indians, so anyone who who wants to keep the mascot would be outnumbered on a global scale by woketards. Remove the Colonel from advertisements? Now you got a lot of pissed off Japanese people.
Colonel Sanders is infact not a caricature of a southern plantation owner, because he is infact on the real Harlan Sanders who was a self-made businessman. Since he's literally just the actual founder of the company I don't see his image getting canceled any time soon.
