Title says it all, what other country would you see divided along some line ALA people want Israel and Palestine

I'm the reverse.. i know all the states by heart, but don't know shit about the capitals
I'll teach you a trick I learned: whenever someone asks you what the capital of a state is, just think about that states name and how it's spelled and the answer will reveal itself.

Example:
Teacher "what is the capital of Alabama?"
Me "the capital of Alabama is A"

Some are a little trickier:
Teacher "what is the capital of New York?"
Me "New York has two capitals, N and Y"

Took me a while to learn that trick, but I'll gladly share it if it means helping others 😊

Cyprus and Turkey. The southeastern corner of Turkey is basically Kurdistan in all but name, and they have tons of fighting back and forth between the federal and local governments because of it. Cyprus has been partitioned to the North and South for forty-some years now and reconciliation talks have been stalled for more than 5 years.

Israel and Palestine need a zero state solution, in my humble opinion.

Edit: the entire middle east needs a zero state solution.

Cameroon (although it'd probably set a bad precedent with African borders, it's the clearest example in Africa) and probably Canada. Quebec being in their country just screws up the political system for everyone and it would be really funny trying to see the frenchies manage their own little ethnostate.

But then you'd have Newfoundland and Labrador as an exclave, which would just be weird and look unsightly on a map. That part of the world already has too many exclaves as is (Alaska, anyone?)

Catalonia WANTS one, but Spain obviously doesn't.

In Australia, whenever we have a mining boom, Western Australia says they want to secede. When things die down, they start crying for the national government.

TIL Perth is the black people of Australia.

ETA: Sudan got a two state solution and literally nothing is wrong there. I don’t see why Israel doesn’t want to do the same.
