I don't care about the definition of infant or infanticide. The unborn child is a human being, so admit you're ok with killing an innocent and stop hiding behind weasel words like a faggot. There is no moral distinction between a viable fetus and a newborn. 'Ackshually the fetus is not an infant' is a very low IQ take for someone who claims to be so enlightened and educated.

The unborn child is no more human than cake batter is a cake. Sorry that you want to force women to give up their bodily autonomy and have fewer rights than a corpse does, just because you're a bible thumping boomer.

I know it upsets you that not everyone wants to live in a theocracy like the year 1600. How ironic that the guy who votes and supports everything boomers do is calling someone who does not vote or support what boomers do a "boomer". There's a glorification of the act of individual violence, that is not violence in general but the "righteous" violent actions of one person on the rest, that permeates our culture. We got movies where the hero is basically shooting into a mass of people that didn't personally do him any harm but they are on the way/they are henchmen and thus should die, a mass of NPCs with no value like cops and civilians in the matrix movies.

This wasn't the case, in the old days only the bad guys went into a rampage killing a bunch of people, the hero didn't even kill the bad guys most of the time. But violence sells, so they put more violence in media which makes violence cool and the protagonist has to be cool so they make the protagonist increasingly more violent.

In many of these movies the protagonist has been wronged somehow which validates all the violence to come as part of his payback, this at a time when communities are being eroded from outside and within, social atomization its everywhere, we're becoming a zero-trust society where everybody feels the other is trying to screw them over.

They think, like chris in the sopranos, that they have a character arc, and that the reason why their lives suck is because they havent found it. So now a bunch of social outcasts in a culture obsessed with movies actually believe they are the protagonist and everybody else an NPC obstructing their way, guess what happens next?

Nothing. Well, that comes out badly... that is to say that mass shootings while tragic are overblown with sensationalism because they are a useful tool for manipulating emotionally driven people to give up their rights.

When looking at it logically less than 1 in a million people are ever going to to commit any such act in their life-time and at that point it just falls into the unavoidable fact that through nature and/or nurture some people will be violent psychos and there is little that can be done about it at such large scale of distinct individuals. To think that this requires the other 999,999+ people per millionish to be deprived of rights is just pure authoritarian wet dream, and this excluding when maybe some of the incidents are not organic and prodded on by those authoritarian powers themselves. If we looked at other statistics in the same vein of fixing the problem almost everything would be banned for killing more than mass shooting and some other numbers... well, it might be seen as racist, wink wink.

Other countries that boast and jab at America for this are full of violence with other weapons at mass scale just the same as it doesn't change the 1 in a million psycho chance and also they have mass shootings too, they just are not as profitable to publicize as it doesn't forward the agenda and instead hurts it. Those country's citizens pay for this "improvement" by being serfs who deal with substantially more draconian laws and extreme reduction in personal freedom.

So yeah, on an individual response level more could be done to not have cops sit around and do nothing on orders to stand down for some reason that surely isn't benefiting someone, but on a societal level any action is a facade to screw you over.
