What software do I need to make something like this:

What's the best way to go for this? I mostly need the "movie making" features, not so much 3-d modeling.
 
This looks like the work of someone using Sony Vegas. That said, that's a program I used for a while. I since switched over to Adobe because I had money to spend. Either program should be suited for what you're looking for.

But just a word of advice. Never use Windows Movie Maker.

Nah, I should clarify. It's not the editing software I need, I know my way around stuff like Premiere and Vegas. I need to know what's some good, easy to use software for like...creating the 3-D sccene and such.

Ah, then I should probably go out of my way and say that no 3D program is easy to use. Blender is the cheapest of the lot (as its free), but it's about as difficult to use as something like Cinema4D, Maya or 3DS Max.

That is either Poser or DAZ Studio. They're both fairly similar and semi compatible with each other. DAZ Studio is free however.

If the idea is to be horrifying, uncanny valley stuff, whatever that is sure seems to manage.
