What supplements do you take?

I take protein supplement (34 grams of pwohteen per serve) but it's nowhere near enough. I can haz more? I figure from all the food I eat I don't get more than 100 grams daily. I was told to take 1 gram of pwohteen per 1 lbs of lean body mass. Surely I need at least ~200 grams of protein per day (I'm 260lbs with 21% body fat.)

Should I double my supplement? It's expensive tho.

I'm tired of being in pain all day every day. I want quick and rapid relief.

Nibba what are you eating that gives you ~100g protons? Up the meat intake and you don't need to take 10 SCOOPS C'MON

you can take more, its fine. You're probably going to have alot of EVIL ass farts but going a little over what you need is harmless. You'll need more water intake obviously to process it all.

Man meat is expensive I'm a poor nibba.
I feel you mayne. Depending on location you might could find a butcher that does package deals, meat for a week kinda thing. Bone-in chickies cost less for a little more labor in the kitchen. And what Babyspackle said is 100% true - you can whey it up for cheap but be prepared for some paint-peeling farticles flying out your ass and stay well hydrated if you're going that route.

Yeah I use bananas to facilitate the process. One banana a day makes the whey poops tolerable.

amazon is currently selling "expired" abacus pills that i know for a fact are not even close to expired at all. you can order a few packs then ask for a refund and they'll process it without asking you to send the pills back. you just gotta take a picture of the expiration date. enjoy, addicts.

from what i read, almost all the things people take to improve performance and training outcomes are either useless placebo (supplements) or come with very nasty side effects and complications (juice)

i do take creatine though, it's dirt cheap and seems to be the most reliable and effective supplement there is. everything else just seems like a scam to me.
i don't consider protein powder a supplement though, that stuff is just food. it's legit, but i don't use it cause it tastes like vomit.
"Technically" all Supplements are food.

And the better Supplements have showed a statistically significant probability above placebo [if we are talking about ones for cutting weight]

I down practically all the immune system vitamins I can find like a madman. Ginger pills, garlic pills, golden seal extract. Everything. I used to have all sorts of health problems and now I basically have none. Every time I got sick those vitamins would legitimately nuke the shit from orbit. Instead of only taking them when needed I just down them all the time.

Also, I don't know how you guys handle those multi-vitamin things. That stuff legitimately makes my chest feel tight for some reason. Painful.

Always 6-8k iu of Vitamin D3 everyday, this is absolutely necessary for nightowls and people who live in not so sunny climes. What supps I take vary greatly depending on the season and whether I'm cutting, bulking or recomping (period right after an extreme cut)

Cutting: D3, multivitamin, Mr. Hyde pre-workout, daily 10mg Cialis (lowers blood pressure and helps circulation plus killer muscle pumps), whatever actual anabolic cycle I got planned for that season

Bulking: D3, multivit, no pre-workout, Cialis, mk-677 25mg/day (massive appetite booster, stimulates growth hormone production), no creatine or aminos necessary if you're eating a lot of meat.

Recomp: D3, multivit, mk-677, Cialis, always have accutane ready cause the high-fat recomp diet can give mans some sporadic acne, +light anabolic cycle

Anabolics can be awesome if you've been lifting/training and dieting well for at least a few years and are over like 22-24 years old, but by god do your research, do it smart, talk to dudes who know their shit, and have an AI (estrogen inhibitor) and your PCT (post cycle treatment) ready so you don't get gyno, fuck up your natural hormones, or fuck up your mental state and troon out like "Jannae" Kroc

Multivitamins, occasionally other vitamins/minerals as needed cuz I regularly go three or four days at a time without eating (it's done some pretty amazing things for my blood pressure/cholesterol/glucose and other things).

Most of my "supplement" money goes to defeating father time's depredations on my skin. Hydroquinone whenever I start to see freckles, which is pretty much a week after stopping application, tretinoin, pretty regular TCA peels, occasionally botox before I get a peel, pretty regular microneedling, i've had a couple small acne scars subincised and will try once more before i call it a day.

obviously regular moisturizer. not too commonly, snail moisture masks, or polyvinyl alcohol peels.

and few more outre treatments to that i won't describe because they aren't very healthy.

oh and minoxidil and finasteride, just in case. my testosterone levels are so low, i'm worried I'd be balding if they weren't so I don't treat it.

I tried Maximuscle Lean Protein Powder and it tasted good, had 25g of protein per serving (servings were only like 37g of powder) but was low in carbs and fat. It also had caffeine in it. Doesn't last too long.

I then tried Maxinutrition extreme mass and size and it tasted bad, but had 40g of protein in it per serving (about 150g of powder or something like that) and has a lot of carbs and fat. No caffeine. One 1.5kg tub only lasts for 10 servings.

Both of those aren't too cheap but not too expensive either. I think for my next powder I'll try Serious Gainz powder from The Bulk Protein Company. It has 30g protein and a decent amount of carbs and fat. It's a 5kg tub and should last 40 servings so much better value.
