What tangible, basic life skills does Phil possess?

He has the motor skills required to earn a driver's license. Despite all his protests about him not being able to drive for extended periods or driving on the interstate; he was apparently qualified enough to be licensed in the state of Connecticut. Yes he got into a car accident which damaged his back to some extent, but they didn't revoke his license.

He has some sense of internal rhythm. Not saying that his "singing" is good in any form, but that and being able to learn/retain combos from fighting games does require a sense of timing. He doesn't keep up with the meta or really try anything new so he fails in fighting games as much as his singing; but he has/had a sense of rhythm, it's on its way out though.

Absolutely not. His editing skills are on windows movie maker beginner level. Just take a look at KO gaming. It's the most basic and lazy form of editing imaginable. And it comes from the same guy who says editing is easy is just spitting in the face of people who spend 5h per minute for their videos.

On topic though, I think he knows how to convince himself he's right all the time and he did nothing wrong. I believe this is the most important quality he has since it protects him from any kind of self awareness and taking criticism. These "nothing I could do" and "I did everything correct" memes aren't jokes. He really does covince himself he's correct through 3000 IQ mental gymnastics. Truly exceptional, truly interesting.
