What type of addict is the worst?

Forum wise, its fetish addicts. Might be biased because I watch the furry and troon parts of the site, but holy shit does chasing a fetish cause you to fuck up your life.
I haven't had much experience with other addicts to give a word irl. I'd say perscription pill addiction is the most sad, but beyond that I can't vouch.
Smelling meth from someone who's clearly a meth addict is awful though. It's like inhaling burnt metal and plastic at once.

Drug wise? Meth addicts. My worst experiences working minimum-wage shitty jobs have always been meth heads. They don't even have to be high, you can just tell that their brains are fucked. Ive seen my building's security take down multiple methheads before, even one who didn't go down after being tased. They're worse than crackheads. (But it's pretty close)

Gambling addicts bar none, by FAR. Meth and alcohol suck, but losing your property, car, house, savings because your family member just KNEW he would win, takes the experience of hatred to another level.

That's easily done, just by different means, when someone racks up a $4k/wk meth habit in less than 3 months, which is common.
People always think they can stick to joy bangs & weekend tweaks, but the house always wins; be it a casino or trap house.

Meth is a strong answer but I've gotta go with Heroin, even moreso that regular opium addicts. Heroin is such a powerful drug and has such a strong effect on the mind that most addicts will say or do anything in order to keep getting high. Unlike meth, its pretty rare that someone actually high on heroin is going to be the perpetrator of a crime, but once they come off of it they're desperate to go back to feeling good and will lie, cheat, steal and generally lay waste to every relationship they have to fuel their addiction.

The type I hate the most are scratch off addicts. I used to work at a bodega frequented by all kinds of bums and alcoholics, but even the worst homeless boozelords were far less pathetic than the lotto fiends. These """"people"""" would make multiple trips from the register, to a table to scratch their tickets, back to the register. If they won any money they would invariably turn around and spend it on more tickets until they were out of cash, and clogging up the line the entire time. One dude came in with a winning ticket worth $100, then blew that $100 plus another $400 from his wallet in under 15 minutes and walked away with nothing. Drug addicts and alcoholics at least get something in exchange for their money.

I'd still go with meth being the worst, mostly because tweakers are erratic & often paranoid, and will steal shit even when they don't need to; along with it literally burning holes in personality.
At least junkies are predictable, and the physical nature of heroin pretty much leaves the individual untouched, buried under the junk addiction. If junkies manage to permanently kick the dope, their personalities will come back. The same can't be said for meth; the person prior to becoming a tweaker is long gone, and they'll never be the same even after staying clean.

Meth addicts are the worst. Unpredictable and will turn crazy/violent at the drop of a hat. Heroin and crack tie for second. Heroin are not as erratic as meth addicts but steal constantly and have no qualms about getting violet either. Crackheads are more twitchy and do weird shit and also steal a lot, but aren't as violent. Alcoholics are third because so many of them kill people in DUIs.
I think nicotine addicts deserve a special mention because despite having an absolutely baby-teir addiction they whine and wail endless when they're forced to quit, ruin whole buildings when the smoke seeps into the walls, will put cigarettes over their family, and create a health hazard for those around them. The amount of damage they cause for a drug with effects that are one step above caffine is insane.
I think nicotine addicts deserve a special mention because despite having an absolutely baby-teir addiction they whine and wail endless when they're forced to quit, ruin whole buildings when the smoke seeps into the walls, will put cigarettes over their family, and create a health hazard for those around them. Sex/fetish addicts. Obnoxious, in-your-face twats who think anyone really gives a damn about their bs. They are enabled and pandered to in a way other types of addicts are not by politicians and society at large. They have a massive sense of entitlement and love attention.
Unlike other addicts these freaks actually go out of their way to groom others into thinking their addiction is healthy.
Other addictions don't have to involve other people to "work". A drug addict or alcoholic may get off to the idea he/she is destroying their or other people's lives and families but not necessarily. A sex addict invariably does. The reason is that you can pay for booze and drugs and they are always available for you to do whatever weird shit you want, people are not and even prostitutes have limits. I think this is what makes this type of addict the worst.
